Have you guys been having confusing moments in life? These last months I've been having a couple of decisions to make that I just felt annoyed while dealing with, to my luck at least 2 of those were solved, but a bunch still lurk around and ocasionally take a bite when I'm not looking. It's just how it goes, you relax a little bit to enjoy that short, peaceful moment while that last surprise is catching up and you'll never see it coming.

Life is not a thing I like to talk about, mostly because mine's pretty awful outside of gaming.

I often look towards the future and think everything will work out and be great, but I forget to live now. Now feels so temporary even though it isn't.

Just stop making decisions. Issue resolved.

The thing is that once you cope with the reality of why we are here and what's the purpose of everything, you realize it is meant to be that way for your own good.
I don't want to get religious because all major religious beliefs essense derive from the same source and ancestors. But using Christian words to make it sound simple, if God would had listened to Satan aka Samael we would all be living in pleasure, no one would die, and there would never be a sense of lost.
Instead God liked Jesus aka Emmanuel proposal plan which basically entails that we all need to experience pain, suffering, sacrifice, and death, that if that wasn't the case we could not possibly develop empathy for one another and we would be stuck in a loveless world. He insisted so much that according to the accounts of all his recorded manifestations, he even offered to experience those things himself by becoming human as well.
When God came, the planet was empty and life was moving on water, but everything was pretty much a mess. He re-arranged everything in a process that probably took a long ass time and now this is the world we live in.
So just remember that because of that, in life we get exactly what we need, and often times what we need is not necessarily what we want. You get the amount of pain and suffering that you need exactly, no more or less, everyone does, rich or poor, old and young. So don't try to be a saint, and scourge yourself for no reason.
Accept that the amount of pain and suffering you are getting is the right amount you need in each life for your own spiritual development if you want to call it that, or your consciousness awakening whatever.
That once we no longer need that pain or suffering no more will be given. So in a way it is all our doing and everyone walks this so called path of enlightenment at their own pace each life. It may sound like a perfect plan, but it is certainly not always as pleasant as Lucifer would had wanted.
Again that is just Christian terminology to make it sound simpler. The thing is that if everyone would know for sure that's the case, the whole human drama would lose the point and everyone would always be thinking in future terms, then empathy, love and the whole purpose of death would also get compromised. It is what it is.

Oh, Dewd... Just play Xenogears. It will answer all your questions. That's the thing. I have no questions. At least not relevant ones. It makes you more sensible to life. The only issue is that once you know why so much pain is necessary you have no excuses to complain. Having no excuses to complain is not a good feeling, but at least it makes you accept situations that otherwise you would not accept. What's your truth spidershinobi and leaon79s?

It is a funny thing because it actually does. If everyone despite their religious beliefs or anyone with the lack of religious beliefs is walking the same path everyone else is walking, and all roads end up in the same Rome, you basically don't have to worry about anyone. The problem is that knowledge is like the forbidden fruit. You eat it and now it is harder for you to progress spiritually because you know what the whole deal is so you become a little less empathetic. However it is not that easy to escape, even after all that, pain has a lot of power, it can still get to you without a problem. This will happen unless your faith is insanely high, in which is case in theory you won't even need the pain in the first place. If such individuals exist they are extremely rare for sure.

Once again, why is he asking? I can only speculate here: he's got an important decision to make, like choosing a career path, and he knows that just when you think you got it made, it can go pear-shaped. Does Spidershinobi want a contingency plan?

Does Spidershinobi want a contingency plan? Play video games for 8 hours straight. How's that for a contingency plan?
