THE PEOPLE V BALDER
No man is above the law. If this forum is to function, that above all else must be true.
But what if one man decides that he is greater than his peers? What if he allows his power to corrupt him?
That is the issue we are faced with today. Our moderator,
Balder , has shown his true colors. In a violent rage, he lashed out at an unsuspecting
billspreston , mortally wounding his feelings. It is up to you to decide what should be done about it.
So, how did this happen? Why is it that our moderator has acted in this cold, callous way? That, my friends, is a topic for later in this post. Firstly, for the record,

And I'm sure we can ALL agree that there is nothing wrong with
that. Who here can honestly say that they don't agree with Bill's statement? None. Because it's entirely factual.
The harassment doesn't end there, friends. Look at this comment directed at Bill by Balder, just 156 hours later:

billspreston hasn't replied. Can you blame him?
Now we can discuss Balder's callous remarks ad infinity and beyond, but that won't get us any closer to the truth.
The truth of course, is that Balder is creating fake accounts with the intent of disrupting our forum.That is a bold statement, but it's one that I can support with facts. Consider the following:
EXHIBIT A:That's for me know, for you to find out.
It's vital that we take this quote in context. It can be found on the first page of the YKWHS Thread,
here. It's important because it follows a long string of belligerent conversation between Guest Users "Peanut Butter" and "Jelly." Food will be a common theme throughout Balder's alternate personas.
What this quote establishes is firstly, Balder is an elusive individual when put under questioning. He is clearly guarding a secret. Also note that he is the FIRST to respond to this influx of guest posts. A coincidence? Possibly. But when connected with the rest of the evidence, it becomes unlikely. The evidence suggests that
Balder is in fact attempting to create a (very flimsy) alibi. He posts less than an hour after the final guest post in an effort to cover his tracks. Let's proceed.
Later in this same thread, Balder calls the posts "an elaborate joke."
Elaborate? Strange. He is the only one to comment on these ongoing Guest posts up until this point, and he chooses to encourage it. Shall I go on?
Balder continues to accuse me of creating the posts, which I soundly refute with my intellectual superiority. It is at this point that we first see Balder unleash his rage. He lashes out at the only person he feels he can bully: Bill S Preston. And for what reason?
Kool Aid.
EXHIBIT B:
Not only is Kool Aid delicious and refreshing, it is also commonly served with a certain lunch time dish.
Yes, that's right.
Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches.Confronted with the growing suspicion directed toward him - Realizing that this unique, cost-efficient beverage will be his undoing, he snaps. All of what transpires next has already been covered, so I will proceed. The take-home message is that Balder's attack on Bill had nothing to do with Bill. It was only Balder's attempt to cover his tracks.
EXHIBIT C:As Moderator,
Balder has the unique ability to
read our minds. If that is the case, why is he so perplexed by the Guest Users? Would it not be easy for him to match the Guest with a Registered User with their unique brain wavelengths?
Is this a case of gross incompetence? No, a resounding NO. Balder chooses to ignore his ability because
Peanut Butter and Jelly are, in fact, Balder.EXHIBIT CONCLUSION:
Going back to when we were children, I think most of us in this forum thought justice came automatically. That virtue was its own reward. That good triumphs over evil. But as we get older, we know this isn't true. Individual forum users have to create justice, and this is not easy because the truth often poses a threat to power and one often has to fight power at great risk to themselves.
billspreston was one of those fighters. Let's not forget his sacrifice.
Balder cannot be allowed to disrupt our fair forum with these shenanigans any longer. What may seem like "an elaborate joke" to him is, in fact, destroying lives. I suggest the death penalty, as was determined just for @player1 before him.
