I guess using the gun argument I can conclude that out of control car culture is why Europeans are getting ran over by vans and trucks every other week. Guns are tools for killing while cars and trucks can be used for actually good things. |

Iceland has pretty much given up their military and they work just fine. Wish we could do the same since we're prettymuch just using it to bonb the Middle East. What's your issue with fsfsxii? |

Just to be clear, I was talking about guns for civilians (and I think everyone else, since we were discussing Columbine - and those kids were no military personnel). I really wish we had no need for armies, though, but I do understand they and their guns are sometimes a sad necessity as wars still exist. Iceland has pretty much given up their military and they work just fine. Wish we could do the same since we're prettymuch just using it to bonb the Middle East. They can thank the US Navy. They can at least send them a Christmas card. |

Nuclear bombs have been dropped a lot of times since 1945, just not in wars. If a big war started between nuclear nations, they wouldn't use conventional weapons. |
