Good news: I've been told that the "explosion" shouldn't have affected the rest of the system and all I have to do is replace the blown Dreamcast power supply with the one from my old Dreamcast.

Wow really? My brother once bought a driving wheel from a shady shop in Qatar. Qatar uses 220V so we expected it to accept 220V. However, it exploded too when connected. It was not recoverable. |

UPDATE: I finally got my lazy arse around to swapping the power supplies. The old supply in my new DC works! The old one definitely has something blown. I'm hoping that part on the board is replaceable. Otherwise, there goes a perfectly good power supply.

Cervantes Charge in Blast. But I tried some of my older games, but this DC is as temperamental as the last! Grr! I have to open it up and fiddle with the little screw that controls the speed the GD-ROM drive reads the discs.
