In elementary school, a quarter of the boys and half the girls weren’t getting even a single hour of “moderate-to-vigorous activity” each day. By ages 12 to 19, those figures were even worse. American kids reach their Geritol years before they’re old enough to drink. Maybe the Americans of the future will crack this list, after all. |

I'm surprised at you, Wind Squids. stratogustav , Forbes Magazine doesn't just make up lists. This list is based off of a study done in over 120 countries, covering 89% of the world population. The study was conducted by The Lancet, a peer-reviewed journal. They've been studying the activity levels in these countries for many years. I guess calling it a "laziness" list triggered some of you, but if you click on the link it's clear that the countries are ranked by levels of inactivity. So, Spirit Bomb , the list looks at what percent of a country's population is inactive, in work, leisure, and exercise. It doesn't mean that these people are unwilling to work or are even necessarily obese. However, having actually lived in some of these countries and worked with these people, I can tell you, Yes. They are lazy. Lazier than Americans. I would just like to point out that the reason for africans' "laziness" is because in Africa, white collar jobs are impossible for most citizens to procure, so their only choice for work is physical labor, and because Africa is by far one of the poorest and most underdeveloped continents on Earth, most of these people don't have access to good quality footwear, meaning that after they get home from a day of intense physical labor, their feet are aching and all they want to do is sit down and rest. Also, some parts of Africa are so poor that many aren't even employed and have to fend for themselves. In this video some Togo locals are forced to hunt rats to keep themselves from starving to death: What was the point of this thread anyway, Dan? Are you too ignorant to realize that Africa is a continent that is blighted by warfare, destitution and disease? I wouldn't be surprised if you consider these places "shithole countries" just like your idol Donald Trump. Then again, I've come to expect this kind of disrespectful view of other countries from patriotic american pigs like yourself. |
