What a cancerous site to use for mobiles. Anyways, what do they mean with inactivity?

Anyways, what do they mean with inactivity? Laziness. I seriously doubt the US not being there then.

I seriously doubt the US not being there then. Ha ha, no. Americans are well known to be hard workers and not lazy.

I've heard that, In Japan, it's not entirely unusual for someone to overwork themselves to the point that they have to go to the hospital or even die. Of course, that's just what I heard, but I'm surprised to see them on the list. Balder The only reason why the U.S. would even be considered for that list is because I live in it.

Maybe this people just like to make random lists out of nowhere. It is like a hobby of some sort for some people. I find it difficult to find the basis of coming up with a list like that.

I seriously doubt the US not being there then. Ha ha, no. Americans are well known to be hard workers and not lazy. What about all the obese people living off of disability payments? Because I consider that laziness, and the US seems to be by far the worst offender for obesity out of all the world's countries.

I'm surprised at you, Wind Squids. stratogustav , Forbes Magazine doesn't just make up lists. This list is based off of a study done in over 120 countries, covering 89% of the world population. The study was conducted by The Lancet, a peer-reviewed journal. They've been studying the activity levels in these countries for many years. I guess calling it a "laziness" list triggered some of you, but if you click on the link it's clear that the countries are ranked by levels of inactivity. So, Spirit Bomb, the list looks at what percent of a country's population is inactive, in work, leisure, and exercise. It doesn't mean that these people are unwilling to work or are even necessarily obese. However, having actually lived in some of these countries and worked with these people, I can tell you, Yes. They are lazy. Lazier than Americans.

Saudi Arabia is in third place, Switzerland in second, and Malta in first? They basically assume that if you have money you have nothing to do with your time.
Well, gaming is an activity, watching Netflix, YouTube, and going out for dinner or to watch a movie count as activities, and don't get me started with sex with strangers and using the eliptica. Also surfing online forums with your phone count as an activity.
These are very biased polls.

Watching TV, sitting around, not moving - these are the basis of inactivity or "laziness" in this study. A lack of physical movement is bad for your health and that's the reason for the survey. To see which people have the worst of it. It isn't biased at all. It's a scientific study conducted by health experts. Why are the results so hard for you to accept?

I was being sarcastic. Obviously watching Netflix or playing Uncharted to pass the time is the definition of laziness.
Using the eliptica at the gym, lifting dumbells or even having sex after going to the movies do not equal to work hard in the field under the sun in agricultural areas, or pave the streets of urban areas.
