UPDATE: As of december 2019, Star Wars Battlefront is now available digitally, and the MMC version of Halo CE anniversary is due for release on Steam any day now! CELEBRATION TIME! On a different subject, Cervantes I need your help with a question I have about Chrome (2003). According to its PC Gaming Wiki page: www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/ChromeThe game isn't available on Steam, but an Amazon.com version of the game has a code that's redeemable on Steam? WUT?! Have you ever encountered conditions like this on a PC game before? Or is this Amazon page for Chrome a BS scam?

Spirit Bomb - It's quite a strange situation on Chrome. Sometimes, a thing that may happen is that a game is pulled from Steam but there are "redeemable codes" still out there - I suppose these codes would still activate normally while the game isn't being sold on Steam itself. Maybe that's the situation - Amazon selling the last available codes? Or maybe it's just a strange arrangement that I haven't heard before (a game on Steam being sold exclusively through codes, not sold on Steam itself).

Both those Amazon listings are sold out/out of stock at the moment, and since the game in question is not available on Steam or GOG.com right now, I'm just gonna go ahead and add it to the list. It's a shame that its PC Gaming Wiki page doesn't even list what DRM the physical copy of Chrome uses; for all I know, it could be Starforce or Safedisc.

I'm also going to throw Halo Custom Edition onto my list. It was the modder friendly standalone expansion for Halo PC that shipped with a level editor and was probably the last good game Microsuck ever exclusively released for the PC. It's clear to me now that they are never going to bring Halo Custom Edition back in any form, which really blows, just like Microsuck themselves.

Noticed that Black and White 2, just like the first Black and White, isn't available digitally. What's the deal with the digital scarcity of these Molyneux games?? Seriously...
Also, I read that Dark Seed 1 & 2 for DOS aren't available digitally, but at least they seem to be available on piracy sites.

It seems the Riddick games (Assault on Dark Athena, which includes a remake of Escape from Butcher Bay) aren't available digitally anymore. It's quite sad, as they are not only two of the best stealth games from the last generation, but also are among the best movie tie-ins ever made. Better than the movies themselves.
I have them on Steam, but I wish I could recommend them to other people. At least they got physical releases on the 360 and PS3.

Probably has to do with them being based on a movie franchise and the license expired, or some copyright mumbo-jumbo like that. BAsically the same BS that took MvC 2 and Scott Pilgram vs The World off digital stores too. On the bright side, at least the physical copies of both those Riddick games use DRM that's still works on Windows 10 (Securom and TAGES), so it's not like they're unplayable outside of piracy like many other older games are.

Full Tilt! Pinball. It would make for a PERFECT addition to Good Old Games' library. It's crazy to think that one of the most popular demos of all time isn't even playable or available anymore (or the full game itself). I'm sure most of us who grew up with Windows XP have an enormous amount of nostalgia for this game.

No One Lives Forever 1-2
I've heard that GOG wants to get them but the games seem to be in copywright limbo.

As I've said before I hate Disney, but I have to give them credit for the huge effort they've made to bring seemingly as many Star Wars PC titles to digital stores as they can. SW Battlefront, Force Unleashed 1 & 2, and several others were just recently made digitally available! They even brought Battlefront II servers back online! How rad is that? And SW fanboys whine about how Disney isn't doing enough for them, pfff. What a hyperbole.
On that note, the only Star Wars game that I can think of which still remains unavailable digitally is Star Wars Force Commander from 2000. This is a shame, though, since it is a genuine PC exclusive. There's no way to play it anymore! As a Star Wars fan I would love to try it.

I remember people were hyped big time when they rereleased the X-Wing and Tie Fighter games a few years back. For console games there are also the Rogue Squadron games for N64/GC, Super The Empire Strikes Back/Return of the Jedi, and the NES games that I know of that aren't available digitally.

Actually, of the Factor 5 games, the PC port of Rogue Squadron is available digitally. It seems that none of the others are on digital stores (PC or console) at the moment, though, which is a tragedy.

I want to play american mcgees Alice but have never found a copy of it physically. Its a PC exclusive game and still can go for a bit of money. It's also available as a free DLC for Alice Madness Returns on Xbox 360, and maybe also PS3 and PC, I just have it on Xbox 360. UPDATE: Looked it up and it seems that yes, it's also available as free DLC for the PS3 version, just not for the PC version. Here in Europe it got a physical re-release in 2004 under the Sold Out Software label, it's a lot more common than the original 2000 release. I found a cheap copy myself earlier this summer. Well that doesn't do anything for me, since I don't have internet service so I can't download the console DLC version of American McGee's Alice. I don't understand why such a revered cult-classic like ...'s Alice isn't on digital stores like Steam or GOG. I've noticed this trend with many older EA titles; Trespasser, Black and White, Black and White 2, etc. What's the deal? It really annoys me since all of these games are collectible so they still demand a lot of money on Ebay, assuming you have a machine that can run them.
