I remember the Sears versions, but I never saw that one. The Sears clones were all over the place. Maybe it was sold on the coasts like the NES was at one point? Maybe the ones I saw were clones, but I remember seeing those controllers, and I'm talking when the SNES was already out and established. Long after they originally came out. Ah! I just read that it was sold in Sears in 1983. I wonder if the video game crash had anything to do with its relative obscureness. A quick eBay search has them going for ~$150 a pop. That hybrid controller looks cool. I like how they combined the paddle controller in it. I wonder why they didn't do the same thing for the 7800.

Correction. Most are going between $99 - $139 a pop. I don't really count the games that come with them. Those are a dime a dozen.

Ah! I just read that it was sold in Sears in 1983. I was still far for even contemplating the remote idea of being born yet, LOL! Yeah, maybe the crash had something to do with it. Those were very sensitive times in the industry.

dschult3 the LEDs still work. It was actually never sold in Europe, only in the US (the Sears version at least).
