The last Sega things I bought were Yakuza 1 for PS2, and the Team Player multiplayer adapter for the Genesis, for testing with the Mega Everdrive. I don't have much to say about either. I stopped playing Yakuza around chapter five, and the Team Player will never be fully utilized. It was used to see which types of multiplayer Genesis games worked with it, and which settings to use for them. I haven't played a local multiplayer game in over ten years.

Man, this game is HARD. I could only beat it more than a decade later and only when I used a code for infinite lives. To elaborate more: this is an old-school fps (imagine Quake) with a limited number of lives. If you lose them, it's back to the beginning (and the game is enormous). Plus, when you die you lose all your cool weapons. So, if you die once in the later levels, that's it: you'll die again and again until you get a game over. It's totally unfair. Otherwise, this is a fun game. It's actually one of the first FPSs in polygon-based 3d, it was even released before Quake. And it's very advanced considering that: most of the terrain is destructable, and I'm talking about the actual terrain (mountains and the floor itself), not just walls or small buildings. Too bad the dificulty level is unreasonable, so most people never saw the later levels - seriously, limited lives in a fps is a truly shitty idea. Hell, you even lose a live if you turn off or reset your Saturn in the middle of a level, so there's not even a way to save-scum.

Just won a couple of Saturn controllers (one regular, one 3D) and a clear DC controller (not sure if it was part of the Dream Point series or not). Still building up my Sega collections in general.

Sorry, didn't specify-- I won some auctions from a Japanese seller on eBay. I have two black North American Saturns...do you think getting the grey and white Japanese versions is too much? Or can you never have enough Saturns?

Someone gave away a Sega Mastersystem with 3 controllers on the equivalent Norwegian Craigslist. I only had to pay for shipping, so now I own an original Mastersystem Mark I!
