It is a little pricey (~$100 USD), but the guy makes them all by hand. It still is a heck of a lot cheaper than the component cables. The improvement in the quality of the video is amazing here.

I use a similar one for the Wii. I had it for years and it is still working fine. I ordered it all the way from China so I remember it took something ridiculous like 25 days to arrive, but it was worth the waiting. I also remember it wasn't even expensive at all, it was quite cheap, something like 7 bucks, and it works great. It makes all the games look really good. I got it specifically to play Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom on my wide screen TV, but I use it for everything, and since my Wii plays GameCube games I also use it for that, to play stuff like Ikagura. I highly recommend this kind of stuff for those that don't have CRTs at home.

Yes, for HDMI only, it looks almost the same as that one. Except that it also has an entry for headphones. It is a really cool thing to have for your Wii. |

This is pretty neat for folks who insist on using original Gamecube hardware. That said, for any Gamecube compatible Wii, the Wii component cables, or an HDMI adapter like Stratogustav mentioned are the easier solution. I used component cables for years, and then switched to an HDMI adapter a few years ago because it was inexpensive.
I have one for the PS2 as well, though it also needs to be connected to one of the system's USB ports in order to draw enough power to run. Side note, it works with the PS3 as well, so would be a cheap solution to a PS3 with a faulty HDMI jack.
To answer Dan E. Kool's questions, the GameCube and Wii cables aren't interchangeable.
As Metal Jesus explains in the video, these ones cost so much largely because they're hand made. It is a neat solution for the hardware purist, but too much for my purposes.

Is there any Gamecube owners who don't own a Wii? Buy a cheap Wii and find cube games seems to be the best solution.
