My computer has a tool called the Game Bar that can be accessed by pressing the Windows key+G while in a game menu (main/launch menu). It has several options, including some kind of footage capture tool. I tried to use it the other day, but it quit recording the minute I started the game; I tried it again today, and the same thing happened. It also won't appear when I press win+G in game. I don't understand why it quits recording when I exit the launch menu. I would love to record some gameplay footage, but it won't let me. :/
Is anyone familiar with this issue and/or used this tool?

bfy.tw/DFhhMore seriously though, not familiar with the tool you're describing. Do you use Windows 10? If so, do the win+G key combo when you're at any game menu but before you actually start the game. Try it and see if it works. |

bfy.tw/DFhhMore seriously though, not familiar with the tool you're describing. UPDATE: Yes, it does in fact capture game footage on Windows 10, but only if you're playing in windowed mode. Just press the windows key+G while in windowed mode and the "game bar" menu should pop up. I know that's a lot of windows to handle in one post, but it's best that you guys know that.  |
