Lately I've been experiencing some display issues with my PC; seemingly half of all attempts I make to start up a game result in my monitor flickering on and off, and the only solutions I've found are to either unplug the DVI cable and plug it back in again or just restart the computer. I told my bro (who is quite good with computers) about this problem, and he thinks that it might be my DVI cable, since he says he experiences problems with his DVI cable too.
Personally, I think it's because of my old ass monitor, which is over 10 years old and has seen heavy use. I am considering buying a new monitor, however they are rather expensive and I don't have any money to spare right now.

They're the best for older games. You can still find them refurbished on sites like Newegg, but I wish it was still easy to get them new.
