Yep, you can have my like! - And my sword! - And my axe! About the question, one of my friends that works with simple video stuff uses "Lightworks". Here's a review.I don't understand a thing about video editing, so I don't know if it's good or not. They used Lightworks to edit the Dark Knight trilogy. So it's pretty complicated. Wow, so my friend maybe does more complicated stuff than I thought. Maybe the free version is simpler? It must have less resources, I guess.

Yeah, it seemed waayy too complicated for what I wanted to do, so I went with a simpler free editor instead. Can't remember what it's called off the top of my head, but it seems to work very well and is very easy to use. I'll post the name of it when I get a chance.

Apparently there is, but you have to pay for it. It's available on Windows Store from what I've heard. Not sure how much it costs. I looked it up and seems the one I tried to get to work a few years ago was the version that was part of the Windows Essentials 2012 pack, but they discontinued the entire pack in january earlier this year. Windows nowadays is the polar opposite of what it used to be, it sucks, it's hard to use and nothing works on it, it's almost as bad as Linux or MacOS at this point. Cervantes UPDATE: So I did some research on the subject of Windows Movie Maker and made some discoveries. Apparently, according to the Wikipedia page for Win. Movie Maker, the software was discontinued in early 2017 (as Armored Core Raven correctly pointed out) and will be replaced in late 2017 by a new official video editor by Microsoft. I have no idea if this new editor will be free, but I thought I'd let you guys know. Also, I found this: www.windows-movie-maker.org/This site is offering the old Movie Maker as a free download. What do you guys think? Do you think this is a trustable/safe site? Seems to good to be true...

It's not advanced, but it does everything I want it to do. Go for it Maestro!

Do you still have a Windows XP disc somewhere? I don't have my XP rig anymore, so even if I did still have the XP disc that shipped with it, why would it matter? Tragic story: I actually did stumble upon my mum's old XP disc while rummaging through her desk when I still lived at her house (this was shortly before she evicted me), but when I tried to install it, it wouldn't work because the code needed to activate it on new computers was thrown out a year prior along with the laptop that it was stickered to. And then she thoughtlessly threw out the disc with the trash afterwards, unbeknownst to me. The DRM on Windows OS is literally the most evil thing any company has ever done. It makes me sick.
