I noticed that none of the GTA games are currently available on Good Old Games, not even the really old ones (as in, pre-GTA 4). I wonder why? They would be a perfect fit for GOG in my opinion.
IN OTHER NEWS: The first three Thief games are currently on sale on GOG for less than $3 each! Not bad. Not sure how long the sale is going to last, but I thought I'd let you guys know.

Don't be mistaken, Rockstar hates PC in general, and the best they will do is begrudgingly shit out a low quality PC port when enough people ask for one. This of course is often a year or more after the original release of said game.
I can also imagine that one would have a lot of things to consider before they release a game on any online platform, let alone GOG. R* might not feel that it's worth it to go through that trouble for what they'd get in return(which could be the correct assumption for all I know).
Also, nice to see you're getting into GOG. I hope you took that offer on those Thief games because it's a very good series if you're into stealth games. I'm not even into stealth games myself and I still like them.

Also, to release a game on GOG, the publisher must take any DRM scheme out of it. I doubt Rockstar would get into the trouble of properly patching their games to take the DRM out of them, unless GOG's sales justified it - and, although GOG is certainly one of the big stores nowadays, it doesn't even get close to compete with Steam in number of sales.
Rockstar has so much contempt for their pc fanbase that some time ago they patched San Andreas on Steam to get musics out of it. Yep, my San Andreas copy now have less music than when I bought it (the reason why I don't buy Rockstar games on pc anymore). The license of the music must have expired, so that meant they couldn't sell new copies with the same soundtrack - but that has nothing to do with copies that were already sold; otherwise, they would also have to go to the home of every owner of a PS2 copy of San Andreas and replace their discs. This practice has no excuse and I've never seen any developer or publisher pull this shit before.

I've heard the PC port was lackluster, and I could have sworn I read somewhere that it's not compatible with Windows 10, which wouldn't surprise me. How does it play for you?
