Got a new computer built. I can finally run most of today's games except battlefield 1. Dont want to play that anyway.
AMD FX 6300 six core processor 3.50ghz
AMD Radeon R9 200 series with 4gb of video ram
8gb of ram
1tb hard drive
Windows 7 home premium 64bit
I could have gone for the 6350 processor but that would have costed more and I didn't want to spend the extra money. This PC should run today's games easily.

Is this computer strictly for modern games? Because I could have sworn I heard you say a while back that you were going to buy either a separate, weaker machine or an older OS to specifically play older games.
Also, I had no idea Windows 7 can run modern games (as in, games released yesterday). If that's true, then what's even the point of owning Windows 10? Since a good number of older games aren't compatible with 10, it would make more sense for me to downgrade to Windows 7 too, wouldn't it? Because, unlike you, I don't play any modern games at all.

No actually I have some older PC games on disc. Ya I actually have those. Freedom fighters, secret weapons over Normandy, fallout 2, frontlines fuel of war all play on windows 7. All those games except frontlines fuel of war and fallour 2 are 6th gen console games just the PC version of them. I only have 1 game on disc that will not work on windows 7. I really want to play it again but like I said it doesn't work not even with compatibility mode. Game says it needs an mmx processor to play.
All my steam games still work on windows 7. I could have upgraded to 10 but I don't know if all my programs would still work right. I know fallout 3 does not work on windows 10. It works on 7 though.

Lol, everybody and their grandmother has a better PC than me now. I remember back when I built mine it was one of the most powerful machines on the block.
