A little off topic, but the 30th Anniversary Street Fighter Collection got announced with all Alpha games, all Street Fighter II games, and all Street Fighter III games, it even comes with Street Fighter 1. It is pretty awesome Capcom is not leaving the Switch out. I also heard the Mega Man Legacy Collections 1 & 2 + the Mega Man X Collection are also coming to the Switch. Pretty sweet I must say.

No. There are a lot of arcade ports though. Such as? Tons of SNK stuff(King of Fighters, Metal Slug, The Last Blade, etc), Gunbird, Gunbarich, Strikers 1945, Waku Waku 7, Mario Bros(along with more Nintendo ones in the future). |

Tons of SNK stuff(King of Fighters, Metal Slug, The Last Blade, etc), Gunbird, Gunbarich, Strikers 1945, Waku Waku 7, Mario Bros(along with more Nintendo ones in the future). That's neat. I wish they'd start bringing Sega Saturn games to the virtual console, although given how unworkable the Saturn's hardware was I can't imagine it would be an easy task. Still would be worth it though. |

I would just be very glad that more people would experience those neat Saturn games. To me, it wouldn't make a lot of difference, as: 1. I avoid buying digital games on consoles, especially on Nintendo ones; 2. I find it hard to believe that most games would play as well without the 6-button Saturn controller itself. Like the Guardian Heroes port I have on my 360: I barely play it because the Saturn version just controls better. Another advantage is that maybe the original games' prices would go down slightly. |

True. I was actually considering buying Guardian Heroes off of Xbox Live at one point, but decided not to since the Xbox controller ain't that great for 2D games. Hopefully Microsoft will bring it to the Xbox One, because the One controller has a much better D-pad from what I hear, not that I'm about to buy an Xbox One. |

I would be all on some Saturn games myself since I sold my Saturn stuff a number of years ago and don't mind buying things digital. I don't think it's likely though, Saturn seems hard to emulate. |

What a god damn shame. I somehow knew Nintendo wouldn't give us Melee again, but this is just heartbreaking. Now we aren't getting ANY Gamecube games at all! What a dumbass decision.

I wouldn't assume we'll never see any Gamecube games because the Virtual Console branding is gone, although we might be more likely to get a few remasters like Wind Waker/Twilight Princess HD on Wii U as they can charge more for those. We got the Nintendo Classics(hopefully it won't take forever to add more stuff because the launch lineup of NES games everyone has played is kinda shitty) and Sega Ages stuff coming as well as the Arcade Archives, Psikyo/Zerodiv, and Johnny Turbo(why that label I have no idea) arcade releases so it seems like we still kinda getting Virtual Console, just not in name.

I have Ikagura, I play it on my Wii with my fightstick, I bought a GameCube adapter for it, it is great. The GameCube library is really good. I also have the Metroid games through the Metroid Prime Trilogy in the Wii, and of course The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess through the Wii U HD versions. Ocarina Of Time Master Quest I have it through the 3DS version of Ocarina Of Time. I don't have Four Swords though.
My most wanted GameCube games are F-Zero GX, and the two Super Monkey Ball games.
