Duh! I call the first "Nintendinho" and the second "Supah Neentandough" of course! I have a cousin who called it Nintendinho too. I thought that was weird.  But then, he was a huge fan of Chrono Trigger and Mega Man X, so the guy had some authority to call his consoles by any name. (For our english-speaking overlords: it's like calling it Nintenddy, I guess it's supposed to be the Super Nintendo's little brother.) I called them Nintendo/Super Nintendo as a kid; when pronouncing the acronyms, I go for N.E.S. and Super N.E.S. I just like pronouncing SUPER. |
