I love motion controls for many kind of games but I heard the Kinnect was very unresponsive and inaccurate. If the thing doesn't work properly then that is a problem.

I think the Kinect is one of the most responsive ones, but still not good enough. I have one, tried it, but disconnected it and threw it in a drawer. And Microsoft basically killed it by removing the Kinect port on yhe Xbox One S and Xbox One X. You can get an adapter, but who the fuck cares. A total blunder from Microsoft.

And Microsoft basically killed it by removing the Kinect port on yhe Xbox One S and Xbox One X. You can get an adapter, but who the fuck cares. A total blunder from Microsoft. I just heard so many bad things. I think PS Move is the most responsive after the Switch, then goes Wii Plus, then Kinect and in last place was the first Wii, which was still fun regardless. PlayStation Move library was too short. I wish they had more titles. Half of them I got digitally and the other half were sadly not released digitally, so I had to get it on physical form. The only reason why I prefer the digital versions of these games is just like for VR I can just jump in. Nevertheless it sucks that many hardcore gamers gave them a bad rep. They are quite fun and the best thing is that only a few have stories. These are the physical ones I have:  |

The thing I never liked about Kinect is that it uses a camera. You just know that someone at Microsoft is watching you flop around like an idiot. They probably watch you play video games, too.

Once you start getting the toughest 3 stars scores you realize how accurate it actually is. It seems the Kinect didn't have that accuracy no matter how much time you put in. |

I never had a Kinect for my 360 (and don't own an Xbox One), but I will say that it seems like it got a lot of use developing technologies that had nothing to do with games (the Third Party Development section of the wikipedia entry mentions some of them). So I'm glad it existed and helped push other technologies forward, even if it didn't contribute much in the way of its stated purpose. |
