I never had a Kinect for my 360 (and don't own an Xbox One), but I will say that it seems like it got a lot of use developing technologies that had nothing to do with games (the Third Party Development section of the wikipedia entry mentions some of them). So I'm glad it existed and helped push other technologies forward, even if it didn't contribute much in the way of its stated purpose. Yeah, it's weird that people use Kinects for other projects.

It is funny that you guys mentioned that. Not too long ago, a family member of mine was sent to a long term rehab center. As I was walking through the halls to find her room, my son and I walked by a room where they were doing rehab with a Wii and an XBox 360. The old folks were using both for their rehab and enjoying the heck out of it. I was impressed to see such an integration of gaming technology with medicine. (It seemed far more fun than the Atari Jaguar shells used to make dental machinery...)

Keeps the mind limber.

PlayStation Move library was too short. I wish they had more titles. Half of them I got digitally and the other half were sadly not released digitally, so I had to get it on physical form. The only reason why I prefer the digital versions of these games is just like for VR I can just jump in. Nevertheless it sucks that many hardcore gamers gave them a bad rep. They are quite fun and the best thing is that only a few have stories. These are the physical ones I have: I was thinking about getting Move for stuff like the House of the Dead and Mad Dog McCree games to have them on PS3 but never got around to it. As for Kinect, I never used it. Didn't see games built for it that I cared about. I like motion controls myself, for certain games.

Kinect did dead? What do you think? Real or not? That could be anything. It is still spooky to think about it though.
