As Dan E. Kool and stratogustav, I want to believe (play X Files theme). Tell us when you discover what was the problem, Spirit Bomb. It can be too many different things (from the electricity in your home to hardware or software), so it was a good call looking for someone IRL. To give an example, I briefly had a problem like this due to a faulty power supply - an UPS that was just broken (and I need to use an UPS because my region has constant power outtages). So yes, the problem might not even be in your computer. |

Well, one of the fans in my PC has been making this awful rattling/grinding sound whenever I start it up, but it usually quiets down after a few minutes. My computer hasn't been randomly restarting lately, so that's good I guess, but I still wish I knew why that kept happening. I'm afraid it could happen again. And for the record, people, downloading =/= watching, and I barely watch porn to begin with (I'm against it). I'm glad Dan has enough sense to trust me. |

Well this is just fan fucking tastic. Yesterday when I woke my computer up from sleep mode it spazzed out for a few seconds. I then opened up the Oblivion shortcut and all the settings (video, audio, etc.) had been reset. Worried, I started the game up and discovered that all the new saves files I painstakingly created after weeks of careful leveling had become corrupted. I was so enraged that I screamed at the top of my lungs and threw some books around. Ever since I have had constant fantasies about smashing that fucking machine to pieces and killing anyone who dares try to stop me from doing so.
I'm at the end of my rope with this fucking piece of shit computer. And it's not like I can know what's wrong with it since I don't know much about computers, and I don't have the money to have a professional inspect it. I'm gonna try to get a refund. If that fails, then I don't know what the hell I'm gonna do.
