I've been toying around with this... toy for a little while and have been enjoying it. Bought it mostly to capture footage since my genuine models don't work with it and coincidentally haven't tested the Elgato on it but overall, the quality is great and I love playing on the HD tv. It's not a Genesis but it's a nice Flashback to the Genesis and that's enough for me, especially considering as I have two original Genesis models. Would you buy it?

I say that this is the Genesis reborn. For one thing, it's got a cartridge slot, just a lack of publicly available first-hand accessories like new joypads and games. It's a bit more casual than an original, but it's valid.

That's true, I also don't see it working (well) with the 32X, SEGA CD or Power Base Converter. Regardless, all I wanted it for was to play Genny games and in that regard, it gets the job done.

I just don't have much faith in At-Games.

Dan E. Kool I felt the same way, but Mark said on his review that the sound problem had been fixed. I can't tell if it's just me or not, but I also noticed the emulated games were a little more pixelated. After trading in my original MD all thsoe years ago, I still had Sonic 2 and Bubsy 1. I think I might check eBay for more titles. Maybe repurchase Super Hang On.

I just don't have much faith in At-Games. Honestly, who would? I'm with Centipede though; this thing knows how to run Genesis games.

Better than nothing, anyway. I definitely can't fault anyone for wanting to play some Super Hang On. One of my favorites.

All Toaplan games are essential. They should be in every single Genesis collection.
