Very nice! I am glad a larger audience is going to get to play Bayonetta 2, as I had great fun with that on the Wii U. I'm kind of surprised Nintendo is willing to foot the bill for a third, as my understanding was that 2 didn't sell very well, but I'm definitely happy it is coming.

Awesome! They may as well put 1 there as well. It's a no brainer.

Now, that's why I dislike boards being so split in here. Bayonetta 3 is the hypest announcement ever, and yet I bet only 3 of us know dan posted a thread about it here.

This is awesome. I wanted to buy the original printing of 2, because it had 1 with it. Now the scalpers have taken over that market, and the damn thing is going for waaaaaaaaay too much. Now that I have a Switch, I plan on getting all 3.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of Wii U titles return for the Switch. It's a good way to bolster the library with games most people still haven't played and also recoup some development costs. I'm sure Nintendo realizes that the second game didn't sell well mostly because the Wii U market share was so small. If Nintendo took a loss on the game, too, they might feel that keeping the franchise as an exclusive will help them turn a profit to cover both titles. ^just speculating.

God I so wish Nintendo cared this much about the Paper Mario series. Color Splash had the budget of a ham sandwich compared to Bayonetta 2, and now they're funding a third one, even though 2 didn't sell well??
We probably won't even get another Paper Mario game. So sad.

3 more reasons to get a switch I suppose... I wonder how 1 will perform compared to the original console versions, or even the PC version, on a handheld though... Just like Xenoblade 2, I suspect that you'll need to play these ones docked for optimal performance. I'm still so on the fence with regard to the hardware. It's affordable enough but the PS4 and Vita backlog is so huge it just seems like needlessly adding to an already very full plate. Very nice! Xenoblade X please. That would push me over the fence. As it is I only know of one person around here that's played it. *chin gesture at old man Cyan*

3 more reasons to get a switch I suppose... Squall needed a handheld, because taking those SeeD tests on his classroom computer would have been a pain in the ass. This is why I don't worry about the quality of the Switch's portable mode.

As it is I only know of one person around here that's played it. *chin gesture at old man Cyan*I am enjoying the hell out of Xenoblade 2. The game play reminds me of the Wii original with many more complexities. I am only about 15 hours into the game, and the story line is rather intriguing. As for X (Old man Cyan, huh? You know, the Roman hero who defeated Hannibal is older than me!), the rumor was that Monolith would complete the story with the port of the Wii U game. I can only hope for that, because the 350+ hours I put into that game has caused me to (Dare I say it like a whiny consumer?) demand an ending. The game's ending was too ambiguous, so I crave more of that game. I loved the mech portion of the game, and I miss it in Chronicles 2; however, I understand it doesn't match the story line.

That would definitely be great to see. I can definitely understand not wanting to flood the console, but it would be nice to see them be used to fill in gaps that pop up in the release cycle, and as you say, it might help recoup some development costs.

I wish the first game wasn't a download, might've sprung for the Climax edition as I believe it's called if Bayonetta on it's own card was one of the bonuses. I'm not one of those no physical no buy people though so I'll still get it.
