Fuck... again with the unobtainable movies. There's nowhere to watch this thing. I have 3 streaming subscriptions Netflix, C More and Amazon Prime Video, including YouTube, TubiTV and NDLA Film.
EDIT: I'm going to track this thing down though, at one point. Even though it'll take me a year, like with Gattaca.

Doing a quick check on Wikipedia, I see Peter Gabriel provides the soundtrack. Considering the subject matter, the song “Sledgehammer” is a very bold choice.

Balder Don't feel too bad. It's a less significant movie and it would be more Australian centric. It's all about the 'stolen generation' and the three girls who escaped to go back to their mother. Back in 2007, the new Prime Minister Kevin Rudd made a formal apology for what happened. I don't see what good it could've done. No one alive today was responsible for removing aboriginal children. They may as well have tried a seance if they wanted a proper apology. It's not a Hollywood production, so less likely to be found on a streaming service. cobretti Peter Gabriel ftw!

Saying a fictional white cowboy did more for the aborigines than the aborigines did for themselves is the most douchey, disrespectful thing a person can say about the matter.

I don't see color, but I see an American with a magnificent cold blue steel 45-110 Shiloh Sharps rifle with double triggers and a striking walnut stock that any freedom loving man or woman can weep for. He even took time to end the scourge of buckets on the aborigines along with helping them against questionable Australians. Not our gracious centipede, no questions about him. He is a brother from another mother.

Just stating my opinion, don't need to be salty just because you find the film good and I didn't. I'm also pretty sure that you have no idea of what kinds of movies I would recommended, since I haven't really recommended any movies on this forum

Send suggestions to Dan E. Kool.

So to bring the discussion back to the film. I originally thought I had watched this as it was a topic of discussion when I was in high school. We talked about this movie on our discussion of Australia. When I think of it, it was lind of weird talking about the movie without watching it. By the way, I found out where to watch this movie. The public library downtown has it, so maybe I'll rent it next week.
