It is massively disappointing. This are not games that you plan on limiting time. The PC version is the one you need or at the very least the 360 one. On 360 the game makes an entirely new save every time you save. So it gets much slower after a 100 saves. However, you can go in a delete old saves to speed things up again like it was in the beginning. It's a chore, but it must be done if you're not planning to read a book or catch up on your favorite TV show every time you walk through a door.

The mod support on the PC version makes it the best version. It definitely runs better on PC then on console. I'm running the game at 1080p ultra with a few things turned down like anti-aliasing. I could run that at max anti-aliasing but I just want even better frames when im play. If you go on nexus you can download mods that make the game run better and look better. Plus so much free content to download that you can get hundreds of hours of more gameplay content out of just the mod support alone while still having the dlc's to go through.

So you're saying the problem Balder and scipioafricanus described doesn't affect the vanilla PC version of New Vegas?
