Have you considered getting a bachelor degree? Balechor degrees are often a great investment with very good long term returns. It depends of what career you choose, but it is never too late, you can always get one, and 4 years go by super fast. If you think about it 2014 was pretty much yesterday. I'm focusing building a portfolio. Doing free websites for people, learning new skills by hand, going on Meetups to meet new people in the industry (there, I learned that not everyone's outsourcing animation to South Korea). |

UPDATE: The hospital is hoping to discharge him this Saturday. He's been going through some rehabilitation and has been on crutches.
I saw some forms on the table that indicate mum has been looking for care services to assist him.
His attitude is that it'll be all good once he gets home, but we hope reality of his health sinks in.

If he can keep a positive mind let him, it will bring all kinds of medical benefits to him. As long as he can keep his treatment, a positive mind can only be beneficial.

stratogustav but realistically, it's highly unlikely that he will fully 100% recover. He also has leukemia in remission and a low white blood cell count. He's also very stubborn.

Possibilities don't matter, the body and mind are intertwined and affect each other in so many ways we often don't give them credit for.
Someone may not recover at all, but if that person is blindfully positive, that person is better off in every possible way. As long as he takes precautions and follows his treatment there is nothing wrong with him being positive about the whole situation.

So I hope he can keep a positive thought without being irresponsible about his situation - and needless to say I'm cheering for you all to get through this the better you can (I'm sure the entire pub is). |

I just got word tonight my mum has had a fall and is in hospital. Over the phone, she mentioned 'crushed vertebrae'.
Why does this feel like an omen?
