UPDATE: I went over to her house tonight to feed the cat and I found her on the sofa. The doctors let her come home, but they said she has a cracked vertebrae, but no spinal damage. She was hobbling and saying her mid back hurt. She's on painkillers, though and she has one of those walkers with wheels. She's due for another x-ray in 4 weeks and showed me a few papers with exercises on it.

Thanks, guys.
It scares me when I see unsettling patterns, like how my father had that fall then, when he seemed to be getting better, just died in his sleep.
