Also, been meaning to ask something. I thought you said that Norway banned palm oil years ago? You know that shit is, like, 50% palm oil, right? (referring to McFlurrys) How are you familiar with the product if it's supposedly banned in your country? A quick search tells me Norway just banned deforestation-linked palm oil biofuel specifically. Regular palm oil biofuel and other palm oil products are not banned in Norway. Also the ban won't actually go into full effect until next year, 2020. I see. They should definitely be doing more about the palm oil industry, but at least they're making an effort. |

Okay, I'll admit that I might have jumped the gun a little bit here. It was wrong of me to assume that Norway has done a whole bunch of stuff to decrease the use of palm oil, but before I'll admit a total defeat here, I will say that a lot of things have changed over the years when it comes to palm oil products. Several products that used to have palm oil have gone over to use other oils, such as different types of candy etc. And a lot of companies do use palm oil from a sustainable source, meaning that they aren't threatening rain forests like most palm oil reserves are. I'll give you this one dude, for now. |

Sigh, time for another update:
Today is the first time in about two weeks that I have been able to access the internet. My internet usage right now is at an all-time low and there are several new factors as to why. First, I've noticed that some of the wifi spots that I used to frequent are no longer working for unknown reasons, including my single most used spot which I browsed at all of last summer every night and was located in my library's parking lot just one block from my apartment. Secondly, my laptop's wifi device has been malfunctioning and is now only working at half-capacity, which is slowing down my internet speed considerably. Thirdly, the Mcdonalds I used to browse at is, to my knowledge, still closed to the public; only the drive through is open (although is was some time since I lasted checked...probably should do another survey). This is an issue because the now the only indoor location I can browse at closes at 10PM, compared to midnight at Mcdonalds, which means I still have theoretically two hours less per day to browse on the internet than I used to.
But the biggest reason why I've been so scare here lately is because I've been working my butt off trying to pay off my debt, and this is how it's going to be for me until September. So, as a result of all of these factors, I will be mostly absent from this board for all of this summer, since I know I will have no more than one day per week to browse on the internet. Hell, the only reason I was able to use the internet today is because my boss called me and told me he didn't need me to work today.
Figured I would give you guys a heads-up, since I used to be one of the most active posters on this board. It's a real shame because I have a TON of weekly discussion threads that I've been DYING to make for months now, including game developer threads, game designer threads, micro car threads, EV threads, content creator threads, social movement threads, and even miscellaneous weekly discussion threads as well.
It's also worth mentioning that I've been going through severe legal issues regarding my alcoholic millionaire mother, who I recently learned is going to leave her 10 acre ranch and all of its contents as well as her condominium to my brother in her will. So basically, I'm not going to inherit anything from her when she dies. I've been losing my mind over this and have been having mental breakdowns every day, and to make matters worse, I'm not allowed to contact her because she used my history of mental illness as evidence to the county judge to get a restraining order against me, which he granted her.
I have been completely robbed of a future because here in america there are no laws to protect the rights of the mentally ill and the lower class.

Spirit Bomb - All that sucks, man. Don't forget to look for help, especially professional help, if it seems it's getting too hard to get through it - having constant mental breakdowns must be rough. I'm almost done with some of my most time-consuming work and will get back to post here more regularly by June, so I hope we have, by then, more of those controversial threads by Spirit Bomb to go crazy on our discussions.
