This is a great line up, but I've noticed that there aren't any of the iconic sports games. Is that an issue to anyone here? I remember that everyone who had a Genesis/MegaDrive would brag about their great sports game line up. I can understand why no one would want to work with the idiots over at EA, but Sega had other games available. Perhaps there are more licensing issues? People mostly cared about third party ones like Tecmo Super Bowl, NBA Jam Tournament Edition, and NHL '94. I don't think many of the first party titles were that popular, and many were Japanese exclusives. |

Much like Mike Tyson's Punchout, Joe Montana Football, Tommy Losorda Baseball, etc probably all expired. |

The library is so good that it feels as if I made it myself. This is so official that Sega even made an original soundtrack for it, and hired the legendary Yuzo Koshiro to do it.
I really can't wait, I'm very excited to finally own an official Genesis release. It will be my first Genesis console in general.
I'm excited even for the 3-button controllers, I always wanted to have those because those are the originals.
I have never owned even a fake Genesis. I just had the multiple collections released on PlayStation.

With the Game Sack video, it seems like crap that other USB controllers won't work with it.

Well, I got home from work yesterday, and scipioafricanus had sent one of these to my house for my son's Christmas present. I guess we will both have to do a review of it after the 25th. Does anyone else have one here? Has anyone soft modded it as well? |
