I, for one, would like to thank Balder for his outstanding work. Thank you, thank you. There are so many people I would like to thank on my achievement. Anyone looking to make similar progress at any aspect of life, let me tell you this: It's not the blows you deal that will make you succeed, but the consistency. Taking down the Maestro has been a long journey for me, and through years of consistent non-conformity I stand before the Pub today as victorious. I'd like to congratulate everyone on the board for their outstanding efforts in this collaboration against being chastised by a hateful individual. |

Looks like widdle baby Ballhair is touting his artistic wisdumb in another animation discussion thread. Everybody take note! We could all learn a thing or two about dimension from our residential Genndy Tartakovsky fan-brat who thinks they're hot shit at art. Lol, maybe I could take some of your opinions on movies somewhat seriously if you actually watched movies, but as you proudly put it, you don´t even watch movies anymore. You don´t even watch the movies you suggest. Myself on the other hand actually watch a ton of movies. I´ve watched nearly 300 movies in 2021 alone, nearing 3000 movies overall and I´ve watched 94% of all the movies discussed on the Pub. So when I give an opinion on a movie, it´s based on a long experience with the medium.

You might have taken a few courses, but you doesn't seem like you've done much with these courses in later years. I've had electrical engineering courses, but I haven't done anything with them, meaning I wouldn't trust myself to do electrical work in the house. Likewise, I don't trust movie criticisms from a guy that doesn't watch movies. |

Also, I've just discovered another reason why Melee is so pissed off: to get a job in art, you need contacts on the inside Otherwise, it's just an expensive piece of paper. |

Shows what you guys know. All credibility lost right there and then. Balder's art speaks for itself. If I didn't know any better I would literally think you two were pre-teens based on your avatars. It's like you guys have no self-awareness! It's insane! Just because I'm a former artist doesn't mean I HAVE to have my art set as my avatar just to make a point. My posts speak for themselves. The reason I don't upload my art is simply because I'm not an active artist. Sharing art is only fun if you enjoy expressing yourself, and I don't. That's why I stopped pursuing art in college (I wouldn't have been able to afford it, anyways; American universities aren't free!). I do still draw for fun, but that's just something I do for myself. But enough about me, let's get back to Ballhair. Watching animated films won't make you a better artist. He claims that he has authority on art (as in, DRAWING) just from his time spent sitting on his ass in front of the TV, and it shows in his arguments that he has made. |

Secondly, I never said my own art was good. I've never said I was an artist, you called me one. My avatar is a creation of my own, did I ever say it was good? No. Should that matter? No. I like my avatar because it reminds me of my time in high school, not because it's a masterpiece. What kind of gatekeeping shit is this? You're not allowed to share art unless you're fucking Picasso? Get real dude. Thirdly, you attack my avatar even though I never said I was an artist, while never daring to share anything worthwhile of your own creation you hack. Fourthly, I never said watching movies made you an artist. Again, what I said was experience a lot of art makes you a better critic. Roger Ebert didn't make any films, but he sure watched and reviewed them and became the most famous film critic of all time. So in conclusion, you're a dumb dumb Maestro, you fake-ass ginger, incel, tree-hugging, gutter trash-licking grease monk.

I was gaming with some friends of mine when I saw that you had commented on my comment. I didn’t read it straight away; I gave my friends the context of the conversation and then started reading it for the first time out loud for the two guys I was gaming with. For context, one of them is currently an art student and a fan of Final Fantasy, and the other went to 3d design and animation. When I read “being a former art student apparently DOES mean shit because it enabled me to expose you two as know-nothing dumbasses when discussing Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within” I literally started laughing out loud and so did both of the other guys. To quote my art friend “An art degree has nothing to do with that garbage film.” Since he is currently on year three, you should probably respect his opinion since he hasn’t dropped out yet like you apparently did, and that being an art student is so important while discussing art. Reading that second part just baffles me, it is like you don’t remember, or refuse to remember, what we have written before. My profile picture was not created by me, it was made by my brother. If you knew the context of the drawing you would see that I have a shred of self-awareness, he made it as a joke in 2016 and I went along with it and used it as a profile picture instead of some other generic shit that had no relation to me. Why would profile picture take away anything from critiques of art anyways? There is no correlation between your profile picture and your opinions. And for your last paragraph, Balder said it best “experience a lot of art makes you a better critic.” You don’t need to be Odd Nerdrum to critique art. You have said so much ridiculous fuckery during the past weeks when you were supposed to write less. I only started engaging your lunacy since you still put me and Balder in the same boat. It is not harassment to say that a movie you like is shit. I like a lot of shitty movies as well, and so does Balder. Another person’s shit is another person’s treasure, I guess. |
