Well being a former art student apparently DOES mean shit because it enabled me to expose you two as know-nothing dumbasses when discussing Final Fantasy The Spirits Within, where Balder honestly believed that The Incredibles was realism, which is just hilarious. Shows what you guys know. All credibility lost right there and then. Balder's art speaks for itself. If I didn't know any better I would literally think you two were pre-teens based on your avatars. It's like you guys have no self-awareness! It's insane! Just because I'm a former artist doesn't mean I HAVE to have my art set as my avatar just to make a point. My posts speak for themselves. The reason I don't upload my art is simply because I'm not an active artist. Sharing art is only fun if you enjoy expressing yourself, and I don't. That's why I stopped pursuing art in college (I wouldn't have been able to afford it, anyways; American universities aren't free!). I do still draw for fun, but that's just something I do for myself. But enough about me, let's get back to Ballhair. Watching animated films won't make you a better artist. He claims that he has authority on art (as in, DRAWING) just from his time spent sitting on his ass in front of the TV, and it shows in his arguments that he has made. I was gaming with some friends of mine when I saw that you had commented on my comment. I didn’t read it straight away; I gave my friends the context of the conversation and then started reading it for the first time out loud for the two guys I was gaming with. For context, one of them is currently an art student and a fan of Final Fantasy, and the other went to 3d design and animation. When I read “being a former art student apparently DOES mean shit because it enabled me to expose you two as know-nothing dumbasses when discussing Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within” I literally started laughing out loud and so did both of the other guys. To quote my art friend “An art degree has nothing to do with that garbage film.” Since he is currently on year three, you should probably respect his opinion since he hasn’t dropped out yet like you apparently did, and that being an art student is so important while discussing art. Reading that second part just baffles me, it is like you don’t remember, or refuse to remember, what we have written before. My profile picture was not created by me, it was made by my brother. If you knew the context of the drawing you would see that I have a shred of self-awareness, he made it as a joke in 2016 and I went along with it and used it as a profile picture instead of some other generic shit that had no relation to me. Why would profile picture take away anything from critiques of art anyways? There is no correlation between your profile picture and your opinions. And for your last paragraph, Balder said it best “experience a lot of art makes you a better critic.” You don’t need to be Odd Nerdrum to critique art. You have said so much ridiculous fuckery during the past weeks when you were supposed to write less. I only started engaging your lunacy since you still put me and Balder in the same boat. It is not harassment to say that a movie you like is shit. I like a lot of shitty movies as well, and so does Balder. Another person’s shit is another person’s treasure, I guess. Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within held the Guinness World Record for the highest polygon count in a 3D animated film until at least 2010. That's over ten fucking years. In fact this is the longest span of time that any 3D animated film has held the record. But, considering how talentless and artistically impaired you are, I'm not surprised that you don't understand realism terms.

I seriously doubt that you are any good at drawing from the conversations we've had. Is that what you want? Petty insults? Grow up dude. You sound like a broken record, because all you can say is how talentless I am despite you never seeing what I have created. I am in fact a former Media student, you know, photography, editing, and all sorts of stuff. I don't give a shit about Final Fantasy: Spirits Within, and the realism it went for probably looked decent when it came out, but looks terrible today. But why would I keep saying the same thing, I have said why I don't like it, but you won't accept that opinion. I am not like you maestro, I can't say the same think a million times without going insane. And I tried to find that Guinness World Record of yours, but I think you might have read wrong, because it got a Guinness World Record for most expensive film inspired by a videogame (which it lost in 2010).

Don't worry, I'm sure he's able to find an MSN article somewhere. Just give him time. Scipio and I are still waiting for him to serve us that oil drilling article.

Well that says it all. Education in photography and Windows Movie Maker means that you have zero-credibility when discussing traditional art, you wannabe prick. Do you know how to use charcoal in art? No? Can you do three-point perspective drawings? Two-point perspective? Can you draw basic human anatomy realistically? Nope, you can't. And that's why you're not worth my time in discussions about realism. Quit wasting my time, asshole. I was actually enjoying this forum for a bit until you showed up again and started acting like a know-it-all jackass. Oh, and Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within actually holds two world records in the Guinness Book of World Records 2010 Edition: the first is most expensive film adaption of a video game franchise, and the second is highest polygon count for a feature length 3D animated film.Possessing two world-shattering accolades over ten years after it was released is pretty impressive, wouldn't you say, dipshit? Probably something that your douchebag artist friend will never achieve. He would never be qualified to work on an animated film of this kind.

You still don't get the point Balder is trying to hit you over the head with -.- Can you create 3d animation? Can you use Blender or premiere pro? Or even Photoshop? Just because you can't use those software doesn't mean that you, maestro, can't critize a movie Balder likes or a movie that I like. And just because I can't draw realistic human anatomy like Leonardo Da Vinci, doesn't mean I can't critize a computer animated movie... You don't need to be able to create something in a medium to critize, love or hate it. Can you please link somewhere that says it had the world record for polygon count? I tried to search for it but came out empty handed.

Discussing with Maestro is like arguing with an idiot: they drag you onto their level and beat you on experience. There's no way we can get any sense into this nut. He drank way too much of the Kool-aid.

Dlotn Just go find a copy at your local library. Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within is featured prominently in the animation section of the book.

As it currently stands, this is my list. But I don't want to post any movies that only a few people have seen. Armitage III (not Korean animation)Lupin III - Castle of Cagliostro (also not Korean animation)Hunter Killer (recent naval war film with Gerard Butler) Parasite (not Japanese)Train to Busan (also not Japanese) Gallipoli (saving that up for ANZAC or Australia Day)Network (origin of MAD AS HELL!)GI Joe - Resolute (maybe 4th of July?) So, add some more. If not, I'll just whittle these down.
