 This last decade has been the warmest in recorded history, and it's all due to human emissions. Americans produce more greenhouse gas emissions than citizens of any other country, and for the majority of my life I haven't done a thing about it, even in regards to my own personal carbon emissions. I mean, I've had a driver's license since 2012, but I didn't procure an environmentally friendly vehicle until just this year when I went out and bought a 50cc motor scooter; before then, I was driving a car & SUV everywhere I went, and never took the bus. My diet has been unsustainable for the majority of my life as well. I've been eating food for over 25 years but I didn't become a vegan until last year. Before then I would eat unsustainable foods like meat, dairy and palm oil on a daily basis. And what about my heating and air conditioning usage? I've fucked up on that part too. When I moved out of my mother's house last year, I ran the AC in my apartment for the entire summer, never thinking about the resources required to produce all that energy. And throughout last winter all of my heating came from my propane-fueled furnace, which sent an enormous amount of greenhouse gas up into the atmosphere.
I have consumed more resources in my life than this planet can afford. I harmed mother nature and her creatures. I am a failure. |

OR what he could do is find a commune to live in. Like a little village where people take care of the environment and each other. It may mean he has to sacrifice his gaming, at least partially, but his conscience may be clearer. He could find an internet cafe, for internet and a space for him to set up his beloved Gamecube.
