stratogustav - Coincidentally, I'm also playing a Mario game: Super Mario 3d Land. It's a very solid entry in the series and very fun, albeit not as varied or original as the other games. Over here, in Brazil, I'm in a state where things are still under control, but on a national level the federal government has no fucking idea of what it is doing - for example, the airports are still functioning normally and without any measures to verify the passengers for contagion. Last sunday, the nazi that occupies our presidency was enticing people to go to the streets en masse for protests that he himself called to back up his failing government (and almost the entirety of his remaining supporters are the elderly, a few thousand of them gathered in the streets of various cities). Hell, he even got to a large group of people to shake hands with everyone, and the moron certainly has the virus, although he still denies (almost everyone that was close to him in his latest flight to the USA, when they met Trump last week, is a confirmed case). Until sunday, he was calling the virus a fantasy. I do think that we might get, at least in some states, something close to Italy or worse if there's not a massive change in how it's being dealt with. One of the problems is that they aren't even testing people - the federal government established that only people with very serious symptoms should be tested, which means that our current 621 confirmed cases are just the tip of the iceberg. My state is governed by the opposition to the presidency, and luckily the governor took immediate measures to suspend classes in schools and universities last week (including mine, so I'm already quarantined with my wife), besides other things.

Since we are going to be at home, I would say it is best to not panic, then keep the mind alert, and positive, so I suggest playing some classics. Hey, who's saying you need to stay indoors to avoid catching the corona virus? I would argue that the outdoors are much less likely to get you infected. I mean, you're only at risk of catching it if you're in a highly populated area, so it's not like hiking in a state park or natural area is going to pose any threat of contamination. I only enjoy playing games in my downtime. I'm not about to let a viral pandemic keep me from getting outdoors, because I'll get cabin fever if I don't go out in my free time. |

I like having a dedicated thread for this because that way if people wants to click they can click, or stay away from it. It is sad to see these convoys transporting the dead bodies for incineration: I honestly feel we are all going to get it at some point because this goes for a while. The southern hemisphere is in summer and their numbers are raising at the same rate. My personal suggestion is to do a lot of cardio. So you can build strength in your lungs. If you have an obesity problem, or diabetes, you are very likely to have complications even if you are young. So let's say you get it in 2 months from now, at least you have some time to build strength in your lungs. Also if you smoke, just stop. The doctor in China that discovered the virus died at age 34, he was a smoker. Talking about smoking, here is another message from Arnold: Quarantine game of the day:  |
