He says the word "user base" like there's more than 14 people who frequent this site on any given day. I wonder if he thinks he's preaching to a million lurkers or something.

The best we can do for our economy is to stop everything right now, and get rid of it quickly.

We know this because the pandemic of 1918 lasted 2 years, and 100 million people died during those 2 years, 50 on the first year.

The countries that went into hardcore quarantines earlier got their economy back quicker and were able to build it again.

The countries that went back and forth into quarantines didn't recover, so they lost both, the economy, and the most people.

So I applaud the government for extending the quarantine, I just wish the restrictions were higher, but what we are doing is better than not doing anything, and it is saving a lot of lives.

Aside from our McDonald's Monk, nobody thought you were trying to convert anyone to a political standpoint Cervantes, don't even think about worrying about it. As for the Corona virus, Norway has been very active in trying to slow down the spread of the virus. All schools, universities and kindergartens have closed down, and will be closed at least until Easter, but my guess is that they will continue to be closed until summer. All of my exams have been planned to be done from home now and high school have cancelled all written exams, so I don't see any reason why schools should open up any time soon. Grocery stores are open and have been very good at cleaning card terminals and shopping carts. They also have disinfectant stations everywhere and some stores also gives out gloves (plastic ones motherfucker). The good thing is that people in this country are quite good at following rules so there's no need for curfews. People have started Facebook groups for helping out the elderly shopping etc., and people are actually keeping their distance whenever you are outside. The only thing that has been controversial is that some people have tried to go to their cottages, which is not allowed currently because the hospitals near the cottage sites don't have enough capacity if everyone went camping. Still, I don't think that many people ever went, but since it's a big tradition for a lot of people to go camping during Easter week, I can see why it would be a problem if they were allowed to go. As for myself, I think this is boring. Having a lot of free time is great, but not when you expect to keep yourself busy with some kind of work. I asked for some hours at my old job and they said they would get back to me if there was something for me, but I haven't heard anything. Most of my friends won't even hang out because they're scared to get infected. So there's a lot of playing video games and watching movies by myself, and it's getting tiresome to be honest.
