Nah, I think you're just being pessimistic. China has tons of high speed railways, affordable EVs, reforestation projects, population control...they're on the right track, for sure.
Any pollution problems going on in China have simply been the result of having the highest overall population and the highest population densities of any country on Earth. That's why I keep TRYING to warn you about the destructive potential of procreation & overpopulation. But you never listen to me! But thankfully, China's strong, centralized government stepped in decades ago and quashed their dim-witted civilians' procreation party, once and for all.

I once drew a political cartoon during the GFC of people digging up chunks of Australia and feeding it to a hungry dragon (China). See, Australia got through those times because China was buying all our minerals at a discount. Even afterwards, local gas suppliers were still exporting to China because it was more profitable than selling at home. Now, they don't use those resources for nothing. Think about their HUGE army and navy for one thing.

Here in California we are getting closer to certain extreme left wing ideologies. You talk to people and they blindly trust their government, they basically can't do no wrong, and whether you comply to local government political initiatives represent how well adjusted to society you are. That's how fucked up in the head people are.

At least we have some level of Sun so not all people are already crazy, otherwise we would become Detroit 2.0 faster. People still say hi on the streets, and they still can give you directions with eagerness, they don't get annoyed if you talk to them, but that can soon change.

Specially when they start to realize how much they are getting fucked in the ass with all the taxation, and the insane inflation you see on every day products at the supermarket. All food is getting more and more unaffordable, specially good food that won't kill you slowly.

At some point it wouldn't surprise me that these people would blindly give away all their basic rights. Their hormones are all over the place because so much soy that the smallest tiniest trigger makes them revolt like a bitch roaring for cock. It's annoying, but it is the reality.

The way we are going at some point no one will have any privacy. Your freaking toaster connected to Wi-Fi will give away everything from you. A woman will fart and soon they will have someone at her door trying to take away her kid for the agency. A man will make a joke at a party, and a notification will be sent saying he cannot longer comeback to work for ideology differences.

That's the direction we are heading, and it doesn't look pretty. So what people do? They flee to Texas and Arizona to bring those problems to them.

Then we have federal reserve supported institutions like BlackRock stealing people's homes, so everyone can contribute to that market without ever owning anything of their own, so they can always have to respond to certain parameters.

Which eventually will lead to more people living on the streets, and streets that smell like marijuana everywhere. I have nothing against pot, but it has been years since cannabis smells like extreme poverty, and lack of opportunities, not a good sight.

I don't dwell thinking about these things, it is a waste of time if you can't really do much about it, but just because I don't waste my time concerning about it, it doesn't mean I can't see it, specially when it's blatantly there right in front of you.
