It's so retarded that I honestly can't come to terms with him believing that. It's beyond comprehension. China update:
The Paris Agreement is a joke. I can't believe people actually think that was a good idea. It's all built on a honor system that Asia, Africa and South America laugh at.

What would a lesser being like you know about climate change? Regressive, global conservative, first-world pigs like you have no say in matters regarding climate change. The reality is that, at the very least, the Paris Climate Accord serves an invaluable purpose by exposing countries that breach the carbon emission caps set by the agreement and/or countries that outright refuse to cooperate with the pact, like was the case with America when Donald Trump pulled us out of the Paris Accord back in 2016/2017 and subsequently was subjected to global backlash (rightfully so). So yeah, the Paris Accord is an awesome tool that global leaders are using to monitor climate change offenders like Brazil (circa Bolsonaro era) and the US. With the amount of affordable EVs and public railways in China as well as their population control measures, I'll be very interested to see how their gross carbon footprint compares to other first world country's in the coming years.

I'm not saying we shouldn't have international climate agreements, but why do have an agreement that lets the most polluting countries increase their pollution many times over? It's a joke for sure. People who talk warmly about it doesn 't know what the agreement is about.

I'm pretty left wing myself but China is borderline fascist. Muslims and ethnic minorities are persecuted for their faith and ethnicity in China where there are reports of concentration camps where these minorities who don't comply are taken to. Not to mention how China dealt with the Covid 19 outbreak where there's actual footage of police and soldiers nailing doors and windows shut so people can't get out of their houses. And also China being one of the countries that produce the most pollution up there with India. Let's not forget: mobile execution vans, organ harvesting from the Falun Gong, Tibet, social credit, even what they did to Xu Xiaodong for exposing shoddy martial arts by challenging them to fights (an attack on Chinese culture, apparently). Maybe this Xu Xiaodong chap should instead fight one of the ultimate grand-masters of tai-chi: Zhou Ting Jue I've heard he's one of the greatest, most extraordinary martial artists who has ever lived, and supposedly the penultimate expert in tai chi. Although, given his age, he's probably retried from accepting challenges by this point. Too bad. But maybe one of his proteges could teach this Xu guy some manners. What do you think, Centipede?

Tai Chi is not really practical for hand to hand combat. It's more theraputic. It's basically Chinese Yoga.
See how Tai Chi man has his arms hovering up in the air? Any novice fighter will tell you that you need to protect your face. You got to keep them close but not in front of your eyes. You can parry those arms upward and make your opponent's face completely defenceless. And as you use one arm to parry, you use the other to hit your opponent.
Stop simping for China!

Based on what I've seen, I still think Tai Chi has at least some legitimate merit as a martial art or a form of self-defense. In my younger years I would've been willing to try it to see for myself, but none of the gyms in america teach it, so I may never know for sure. Grandmaster Zhou Ting Jue supposedly owns and operates a Tai Chi dojo in California, but the only people who would want to live in California are stuck-up, mega-rich, narcissistic socialites. I'm a democrat and even I loathe California. Not for the politics, but because I can't stand the fake nobility of California like Schwarzenegger and the other Hollywood socialites who all rape women, abuse children, and preach lies. Maybe I'm inadvertently suggesting that grandmaster Jue is himself a fake socialite. I think I might need to rethink my approach to ranting. Anyway, it's the same thing with sumo wrestling and capoeira. They might be inefficient as self defense or attack, but at least you can get some results, unlike real fake martial arts like this Frank Dux "qi" nonsense I keep hearing about.

You love China? Be glad you don't live in a dictatorship where human rights are being violated every day. This last statement is incorrect. The United States of America has by far the highest per-capita carbon emissions of any country on Earth, not China or India. China is second on the list, but not by a close margin, only producing about half as much as america's. And India from what I remember doesn't even rank among the top 10; it's actually below several highly vacant mega-rich first world countries like Australia and Canada. Indian citizens are extremely green, not even capable of producing much greenhouse emissions since few of them have access to large machinery like cars or unsustainable foods like meat because they simply can't afford it. China might be crazy, but I still like them. I know they're technically a very flawed country, but I can't help but grin with glee whenever I hear stories about them executing tax-evading millionaires and billionaires or torturing middle-class socialite scumbags through the power of social credit. China is definitely a guilty pleasure for me. It's by far my favorite of the three superpowers. Their government has so many great ideas with untold potential. I've often fantasied about defecting to China. I believe that China is one of the very few countries that has the potential to become a true utopia one day.

For someone who loves the environment and talk about freedom of speech, you sure like a country that hates those things. If you weren't so flight-impaired, I wish you could travel there or even better move there to see how long you could mooch of McDonald's wifi before you missed the States again.
