Made by Nintendo? Wow, this is like a dream come true. I already have most of those games on the Wii U, but I'm still sold on this. I'll probably get more than one if this is real.
I never heard of StarTropics or Bubble Bobble though, I'm sure they are good if they are included because the collection of games is super solid.

You will definitely enjoy them. I'll be buying these for the kids in the family, so they can get into the older stuff. That's pretty cool, so it's like a plug&play I'm assuming? Although it looks as if you can also play extra games from the virtual console.
How's the selection of virtual console games like for the NES anyway? Is it any good?

I think that's very probable. I just wished they included a cartridge port. I would be totally sold on it, as I'm looking to buy a new NES this year (my NES broke more than a decade ago). |

Cervantes I checked and there is no way to add more games. Those listed are it. You can still use the controller for the Wii and the Wii U and that is super rad. I already have a Super Nintendo (Super Famicom) controller, and a Game Cube controller (Zelda Smash), for the Wii U, along with the Classic controller, and the Pokkén pad, so now I will only be missing the N64 controller. It is still a steal though, that amount of games would cost you more on the Virtua Console and you are not even getting hardware.

I came here looking for this post lol, I honestly may just buy it for the novelty and maybe for the controller to play Virtual console games and games on the PC when the wii-usb adapter inevitably comes out some time in the future. I'm questioning why they didn't include Contra but did include Super C, the game easily goes for about 40-50 dollars by itself and I would argue it's way more popular than Super C. I'll wait for the Sega 32x version, thank you. Wow, I just looked for a 32x clone console and nobody has made one yet, not even a plug and play like this one. I'm honestly impressed considering standard genesis clones are a dime a dozen. I also want an Amiga 32CD clone now, I don't think I've ever seen a console let alone a game for the damn thing... |
