In your city... i.e all of LA??  That's amazing! Shame arcades aren't as prevalent as they once were...  Btw, I looked up the Galaga, and apparently there's also the PS1 classics one from the Namco Museum Vol.1 on PSN in addition to the new arcade version you're using for PS4. The Namco Museum version isn't likely to have the trophy functionality of the PS4 arcade version, but it's seemingly a better deal - as it includes Galaga, Bosconian, Pac-Man and Pole Position... I was thinking of going for that one so I can try beat @guillion's Bosconian score as well... But even if I score higher using that one I un'nou if you'll accept that as beating your score as it isn't the straight arcade port that you're using... Technically my closest city is Santa Clarita, where this is at, which is still L.A. County just not downtown. I totally accept any Galaga, they are all fairly similar, unless is a complete different game like Galaga '88. I also have direct ports of Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, and Dig Dug on my PS4, so if Namco Museum comes with those, it is a good thing. I hope they release Super Pac-Man, Bosconian, Xevious, Pole Position, and Rally-X, I would definitely buy those. I have the recent Codies F1 games and Dirt games, and in my opinion Pole Position and Rally-X still hold up well against them. |

I just watched scipioafricanus get to level 53 in Food Fight for the Atari 7800. My son and I were impressed, so I was about to take a picture of the screen, but the damn screen changed to the game select screen as soon as I pulled my phone out. I have no idea what the score was, but that's a damn good run, so it deserves to be here. |

dschult3 I see what you mean, but usually games that are designed with high scores on mind are arcade by genre, even if they are made for home consoles. Plus I agree with Balder that here the thread won't be buried as it would on the main forum. So in a way it is even better that it is here because here it will stay more visible, and easier to find.
