Haze? Why? No one ever said anything good about that game. It was not even supposed to be an exclusive, they just cancelled the other ports because of the reception. Other games no one spoke good about were the SOCOM games, Sony even closed their studios down. Although I heard those are better than Haze. Good job on getting Resistance. I don't like shooters but those I end up liking, specially 3. It's also good you are starting with Ascension because the other God Of War games are better, specially the 3D PSP ones, so it will get better for you unlike for us that went down instead. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is an awesome game, the first one is one of my all time favorites. Then Demon's Souls is also good, but a bit too easy, you can beat it in one sitting Interestingly enough every game on the PS3 I have tried online still have the servers running fine. I have found people to play on Razing Storm and that game is from 2009, and it is not even a big title by any means. lukefonfabre388 told me the servers for shooters he has from 2008 still have the servers running for people. I can go on fighters that already have been pulled from the PSN and still find people online to play. It amazes me because many of these games are almost a decade old. The only disappointments so far have been the servers for PES that only last about 3 years each, but to be fair I enjoy those games without the online aspect of them. I'm fact I have PES 2016 and can go back to play 2014 and enjoy it. The same goes with racers like F1 2012 that I still enjoy despite having F1 2015, although those still work fine online as all old other racers I can think of.

Pssh... (lol)Oh, Norway... What's that supposed to mean? It can mean whatever you want it to mean, my dear Norway. Just picked up 8 games from a Craigslist seller: Resistance Killzone 3 Ratchet & Clank Nexus Ratchet & Clank All 4 One God of War Ascension Demon's Souls Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Haze That's a pretty solid starter pack there. GOW Ascension's another one with multiplayer. Actually the only GOW with multiplayer. (my impression was that the single player was just an excuse to sell the multiplayer...) Demon's Souls too - Multiplayer should still fuction although I un'nou whether there's much activity at this point... Sigma 2 is an excellent melee slasher. But some may argue that a similar (actually pretty much identical) version was available for X360. Resistance... is ok I guess... Never tried teh multiplayer meself but the single is pretty meaty. Gives a shout if you want to try the multiplayer and maybe we could go a round or two... Like Gustav says, there are plenty of servers that still work after all this time. So more than likely the ones for most of those you have there should be working too. Then Demon's Souls is also good, but a bit too easy, you can beat it in one sitting Fer reals? To my shame I've never played Demon's, but I spent 300+ hours on Dark 1...

MGS4 is the reason I got a PS3 years ago. You might want to try it. But Snake Eater in the MGS collection is probably the best to start with.

I've already got God of War HD collection and III, so this and the PSP exclusives are the ones I'm missing, but I'm going to start from 1 to Ascension in the order they were released.
The reason why I got Haze is simply because of it's exclusivity as a PS3 game (and that it was supposed to be the Halo killer).
I've beaten Ninja Gaiden 2 for the 360, but this version is different and with different characters.
Anyways I'm getting all exclusives that I can get my hand on. I'm not necessarily going to beat them all, but at least give them all a shoot.

I wonder who would say such nonsense, the game is not even supposed to be an exclusive, it end up as one because the reception was so bad that they decided to cancel the ports for other consoles. Then again I haven't played the game so I can't really say much of it other than what I notice by looking at other people's reactions to it.

Free Radical could never make an FPS game that was anywhere near as good as the Bungie Halos. I've beat Future Perfect for the Xbox and it had the absolute shittiest campaign of any FPS I've played. The storyline was laughably retarded and there was barely any emphasis on gunplay, not to mention that it felt rushed and felt like a budget title in comparison to another much better EA shooter, Goldeneye Rogue Agent.

IMO Free Radical is overrated. Timesplitters 3 was just about the simplest FPS of its generation that I've played.

I remember TimeSplitters to be popular. My guess is, it was popular for a reason. However you can tell from far away this one was not going to be nearly close to be good enough to compete with anybody.

I've been playing some more and finished Uncharted 2. It was even better than the original with improved controls and definitely the combat system. I always felt I was running out of ammo in the first one. And I found another thing which I absolutely despise with the PS3. The controller is so damn picky on how to recharge. You can't recharge it with a USB AC adapter, you can't charge it while the PS3 is off, you can't change the battery themselves (in a practical way that is) and when you set it up right it only charges whenever it feels like it.

I never had a problem charging those controllers with the original cable. Plus the battery feels like it lasts forever. Unlike the PS4 controllers battery life that is very short. Those you have to keep charging almost every two days, while the PS3 ones last me at least a week. The PS4 ones are a lot nicer though.
The no charging with the AC adapter depends on the cable and the outlet, not on the controller. You mat want to replace the cable for an original. That used to happen to me until I found the original cable.
You can't charge it when the console is off because there is no power, you can only do that with the PS4 because there is still power on rest mode. I think it's cool you don't need regular batteries though, that spence would add up fast.

stratogustav Balder It isn't an issue with the cable/outlet Balder is using. Rather it has to do with the USB connection. The PS3 requires the two data pins to be present in the USB jack, not just the 2 power pins, so it won't work on most 'dumb' USB jacks (most wall-outlet attachments). So it would charge when connected to a PS3, PS4, Wii U, PC (though some versions of windows require some re-jiggering in the device manager). It isn't impossible by any means with the PS3 controller, but it can be inconvenient and I'm glad the PS4 controller doesn't require a data connection for charging.

Oh that's what it is. I really thought it was the cable, but now that I think about it, the original cable I bought later came with its own power supply and maybe that's why I haven't had an issue charging them, unlike the DS4s that charge with anything.
