Aww man, you already mentioned so many cool names! Let's see if I can think up of some, maybe I should also include indies and people who passed away: - Yukio Futatsugi: Panzer Dragoon series and Phantom Dust. This is the guy behind the magic that is Panzer Dragoon Saga, my favourite RPG (while the PD series is my favourite in general). Sadly, his latest project, Crimson Dragon, was heavily sabotaged by Microsoft... - Tomonobu Itagaki: Dead or Alive and, of course, Ninja Gaiden (modern series). Ninja Gaiden Black is another of my favourite games ever, so this makes Itagaki one of my favourite developers. As Futatsugi, his latest project, Devil's Third, also had a very troublesome development. People who passed away: - Kenji Eno: Creator of the development studio Warp, where Fumito Ueda got his first job in gaming. He directed the D series and one of the best and most injustly forgotten survival horrors ever: Enemy Zero. This game predicted almost every trope in modern survival horrors like Alien Isolation - in 1996. Impressive. - Gunpei Yokoi: Producer of the Metroid and Kid Icarus series and creator of the Game & Watch, the Gameboy, the Virtual Boy (ok, this one was not good) and the WonderSwan. Indies: - Konjak (Joakim Sandberg): creator of Noitu Love 2 and a lot of smaller projects, including one of the best Zelda fangames out there ( Legend of Princess). Currently working on The Iconoclasts. - Cactus (Jonatan Söderström): Known nowadays for Hotline Miami, but mostly known before for Mondo Medicals and Mondo Nation. He has a LOT of awesome games, all of them very creative and short, including plenty of shmups. - rdein (Guilherme Martins): Hey look, my country is also represented here! This is the creator of the Momodora series. The latest entry, Momodora: Reverie under the moonlight is simply one of the best indie 2d games (or just 2d games period) released in recent years. This game definitely deserves more praise, I've played it recently and it was very impressive throughout. Those are my current picks.

Swery 65 is a cool guy, shame that D4 is, y'know, DEAD. Quite a contradicting title! Suda51 is a very good developer as well.
My favorite would be Shinji Mikami: Resident Evil The Evil Within God Hand Vanquish
Those games are timeless classics!
Credit goes to Hideki Itsuno and Hideki Kamiya for transcending the action genre to unprecedented heights

fsfsxii Nice one, he worked on the SNES version of Aladdin and Goof Troop too. More of a reason for you to get The Evil Within plat.

By the way, Kazunori Yamauchi from Polyphony for the Gran Turismo series and Omega Boost is another big one for me.

I would expect nothing less from you. Get your politics outta here!!! Dan E. Kool Balder Yeah, shut the hell up, the both of you! Anyway, here's a question: how long do you think Shigeru Miyamoto has left? He's been in the game a long time.

That's something no one can predict, but those guys look like they truly care, flying all over the places, so I'm sure they still got it for a while.

centipede keeps trying to get involved. But nobody cares! He's way down in the polls. Last week he was at 5%. Today it's more like 2. And that's being generous. It's really more like 1%. But the dishonest media never reports it. It's always "Oh, Dan E. said this or that." Give me a break. My polls are rising all the time. It's true, folks. We are getting the biggest polls, the biggest rallies. The only way that centipede even gets any attention is when he mentions my name! Has anyone noticed that? Maybe I should just ignore him. What do you all think? But we're going to win. We're going to win big. And quite frankly, there's nothing centipede can do about it.
