You would be surprised how many people in our country take stupid medications since they are little kids. In the long term there are always side effects no matter what it is. Based on the reports I read, I'd say that was part of it with this guy. When you got a kid who's just growing and you pump him full of what are basically mind-altering drugs, it's not super surprising that sometimes it messes people up like this.

Stopped by a plumber. Absolutely disgusting that the Air Force, for whatever reason, didn't do SOP and file paperwork on that POS' dishonorable discharge for being a wife beater. This allowed that deadeyed cretin to purchase weapons.

It sucks that these kinds of things have been happening so much lately. It seems there are news like this every single month of this year, it's hard to understand how there are so many crazy people out there capable of doing so much damage.

Or do you mean worldwide? When I heard about this one, I thought it might be connected to the Las Vegas shooting - not directly, but in the same way that a publicized suicide will often inspire others in bad emotional states to end their own lives. A kind of "copycat shooter."

Dan E. Kool - Worldwide, though most of the ones I remember now were in the US (others were in France, England and Brazil). I'm thinking of not just the attacks done with guns but also done with cars/trucks, which is a thing that only became strangely common since last year AFAIK.

Yeah, I was just thinking the same thing the other day. Where did this whole car thing come from? We've had cars for over a hundred years, and suddenly these nuts decide to ram through groups of people with them? Lame. Whatever happened to the good old suicide vest? Now there was a terrorism weapon. Not like these amateurs today. I bet that guy in New York even had a valid drivers license. Can you imagine? A terrorist waiting in line at the DMV like a regular schmuck. What a loser.

Like for instance the printable gun where you simply needed to download the schematics and own a 3D printer. I'm sure it's floating around somewhere.

I found this on Youtube the other day, very interesting:
Worth a watch. I don't think America (as in, the US) will ever get to this point, but it just goes to show how much the murder rate drops when guns disappear in society.
