THE best Bond film, hands down. Or at least in the top 5 for me personally.
Still arguably the pinnacle of the entire franchise and puts the modern Bond pictures to shame. Unlike something like Skyfall, Goldfinger actually has an original plot, and believable villains (especially Goldfinger himself). Connery is also the most compelling Bond for me personally. The Bond girls in Goldfinger were some of the best of the franchise, too. The film has too many thrilling moments to count, like the car chases, or that classic laser beam sequence. It's just all-around an extremely clever, original, and well executed film that holds up beautifully.

Goldfinger is one of my favorite movies. Some of the other Bonds are good, Moore in particular, but Connery's 007 just had a perfect blend of action, suspense, and humor that modern Bond can't touch, unfortunately. They just don't make movies like this anymore.

And let's not forget the silver asten marten, the penultimate spy car, complete with built-in machine guns and retractable bullet proof shields! Why hasn't this car been featured in a GTA game yet? (as a cheat or something)
