Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays you filthy animals. It's that time of the year again. Anyone in here excited for something or have you become so jaded throughout the years that you simply don't give a fuck?
Personally, I find myself somewhere in between. I'm not excited about presents at all. I'm not giving away anything special and I'm not receiving anything special. The only exception is my 2 year old nephew; I'm excited to see his reaction. As for other stuff I'm going to the Star Wars premier on December 13, a whole day before any of you filthy Americans! Right after I'm going on a vacation to Poland again. This is the highlight of this month for me. What are you guys up to?

Christmas became rather dull for me, but it has been revived again with the birth of both my son and my daughter.

I'm not looking forward to the long drives or trying to shuck and jive when my family members ask me what I've done with my life since last year. Other than that I'm looking forward to Christmas and seeing my family. My only real regret is that I just can't seem to get into the Christmas spirit like I did when I was younger. I'd say that's just part of getting older, but I see a lot of people my age and older that get into the Christmas just fine.

I enjoy giving gifts. My cousin recently got married so I got her and her betrothed the Mario and Peach Odyssey amiibos and gave each to the opposite gendered recipient. Hope it gives them a good laugh!

I just found out I'm celebrating Christmas Eve with my extended family this year. I haven't done so in 15 years. So that'll be interesting.

I just found out I'm celebrating Christmas Eve with my extended family this year. I haven't done so in 15 years. So that'll be interesting. apparently you didn't extend them far enough. And now, a special presentation! |

Indeed. The Sprestons got together with estranged relatives a few Christmases ago, after not talking for over 20 years. I'm going to show them these shows non-stop, in hopes I can get another 20+ years of comfort and joy and silent nights. |

Yes, merry Christmas and happy New Year to everyone.
Christmas truly does start after Thanksgiving. It is not just the 24th's eve and the 25th's morning. The whole season feels special, and there is not a better feeling than give really nice gifts to those you love.
