I remember one of the questions from the original 'introduce yourself' thread on the CGR website was something akin to "what is your favorite word?"
I initially picked 'omega' because it was featured in Mark's Omega Boost review.
Now that I've had two years to come to a consensus, I still haven't come to a decision. However, just today, as I was typing notes for the progress of one of my students, I typed in 'forgoed' naturally thinking it to be the past tense of the verb 'forgo' only to be surprised that it was a misspelling. So I took a spin on the wheel of fortune and tried 'forewent' as 'went' is the past tense of 'go' and found it to be a viable way of saying 'forgo' in the past tense.
So is 'forewent' a favorite word? Not at all but it is one of the more interesting I've heard in a while.
What words do you like?

I think "sylphide" sounds great for some reason. Also, "neuromancer" sounds really good.

There has been studies that for the majority of people one of our favorite words is always our own name, which is why people like when you say their name while talking to them in a conversation.

Bestest.
If it's not a real word, it should be!
Cause it's just the best. -est.

Triumphant sounds exactly like its definition.
Also, wiener is a universally funny word.

The F word has to go on this list. When I get really pissed at my games I tend to say the F word a lot. Nobody believes me when I say I have a bad temper since im so calm in real life. Even my friend today said I don't think I have ever seen you get really upset. I said to him well you ain't seen me playing my games when im really upset.
Other favorite words: Prick (this is such a nice word) and can also be used to say this person touched a cactus and was pricked to death. I also like DD (dunkin doughnuts), and IJN (imperial japanese navy). Banzai!.
