I haven`t driven in a while now. I am in the middle of four exams that are all happening between the next 15 days. However, after these 15 days I am going to take a long relaxing three and a half hour drive to visit my sister who lives pretty far away. It will be a glorious drive and it will probably be a highlight of the christmas break. Be sure to stop by Mariero where there is a McDonald's and a gas station in one. That way you can really appreciate what this thread is all about. |

Hey idiot, I was referring to the city you lived in before Stavanger, the one you were living in when you made your OP bitching about toll booths "ruining your quality of life!!!1". I remember you even admitted that you moved out of that city just so you could live in a town without any toll booths so you could drive to your heart's content, which sounds exactly like something a village idiot here in America would do. Flipping out of me for correcting you is so typical of you, Balder. It's time you grow up. Oh, and it's spelled "people", not "peoole", you idiot. You know you're running out of points if you're attacking me because of a typo.
Anyways, to actually point out how wrong you are, Stavanger is the same city with all of the toll booths, but I moved within the city. So instead of having to drive through a toll booth, I live within the toll both, meaning I don't have to pay anything when driving to and from the university and most restaurants, shops etc. I can drive to my heart's content without having to break the bank. The place I live now is beautiful and I love it here.
Hey, at least I don't attack people for correcting me on stuff. What kind of asshole rants about toll booths, anyway? I mean, our other two European posters, Bogard and @armored Core Raven, both live in countries filled to the brim with toll booths and they never whine about them. That's probably because they aren't ignorant, selfish, materialistic pigs who put their quality of life before the environment and the air we breath like you do. Toll booths have done more good for the planet and its people than you ever will, you schmuck. |

So instead of having to drive through a toll booth, I live within the toll both, meaning I don't have to pay anything when driving to and from the university and most restaurants, shops etc. I can drive to my heart's content without having to break the bank. I know your thread isn't as popular, but you don't have to ruin our fun just because you're jealous or angry with us or whatever. |

Just took a drive to the combo gas station and McDonald's. It felt great to express my freedom and privilege of owning a car and having expendable cash. I filled up the tank with that high-inducing black gold our country proudly pumps up every day of the year that we have no plans of stopping to produce. Then I went into the oligarch of meat, the number one food provider of the world, the one and only McDonald's. Corona be damned, I needed some fresh protein to quench my lust for meat. Ahhh... It feels good to be in the 1% today.

There's a Pontiac Fierro sitting right across from the library I volunteer at. It's kind of just sitting there and its been sitting there for what seems like forever. I think I remember seeing that car still there when I first moved here. That would be a fun to car to get running again especially if it's got a manual transmission in it. Don't think its for sale though nor do I have any idea what needs to be done to it to make it drivable again but it does sadden me when I see it sitting there. I'm not even sure who owns it but there's a barber shop directly to the right of it. Maybe I'll stop in there one day and ask about it.

Spirit Bomb Dude, how else are you going to go places? On boat? It isn't realistic. At some point commercial technology will catch up, but right now we are in the hands of companies like Shell, Sunoco, Amoco, Exxon-Mobil, Chevron-Texaco, and BP, all those that diversified the portfolio for Rockefeller's Standard Oil Company, so there is no much we can do about it.
