Bloodstained Curse Of The Moon 95/100 Just like what Gunvolt is to Mega Man, this is definitely a brand new IP in the style of Castlevania. These spiritual successors have their own personality, and that makes them unique. I was pleased throughout the whole game and I'm excited that it is very likely we will be getting many more like this.

I already have all the ones they have. I couldn't resist: - Dragon Blaze - Gunvarich - Gunbird - Sengoku Ace - Sol Divide - Strikers 1945 - Strikers 1945 II - Tengai - Zero Gunner 2 I hope they release the others, they are still missing: - Cannon Spike - Gunbird 2 - Pilot Kids - Space Bomber - Strikers 1945 III - Strikers 1945 Plus They are also dropping Ikaruga from Treasure tomorrow, which is probably the best shmup of all time after Gradius V for me personally. I pre-ordered it weeks ago. I have the GameCube version Leaon suggested and I even bought a GameCube adapter for my arcade stick just so I can play it on my Classic Wii. Ikaruga coming out gives me hope that we may also see other classics like: - Bangai-O - Border Down - Giga Wing - Giga Wing 2 - Giga Wing Generations - Mars Matrix - Night Raid - Radiant Silvergun - Twin Cobra II Plus Then we'll have the entire list of classic shmups on the Switch. If they also put Under Defeat I'll buy it again on the Switch just to have the collection. I would be the happiest. Fun fact, many of our forum rank titles are named after all those games.

stratogustav - Good to know that Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon is a good game. My wife is a huge Castlevania fan, good to know she won't be disappointed. I hope the "main" Bloodstained game also turns out ok.

Oh yeah I also have Sengoku Ace, forgot that in my list. I imagine Cannon Spike might be a problem because of the Capcom characters in it. But at the rate they are coming out I'd expect to see the rest of them. It's great that Ikaruga is getting ported. I will definitely get that. I would buy most of the other games you listed also, I can't think of what Night Raid and Border Down are like but know I've heard of them.

DETROIT: Become HumanWhoah... The graphics here put multitudes of others to shame (Final Fantasy XV, Deus Ex Mankind Divided among them. 4k? Pssh... This is artistic photoresalism at its finest)... That's saying nothing of the absolutely enthralling high stakes story. Objective grade: B+ ( 8.9) Personal tilt: 9.5 (Amazing)

That's saying nothing of the absolutely enthralling high stakes story. Objective grade: B+ ( 8.9) Personal tilt: 9.5 (Amazing) I'm definitely going to play Detroit, but I'm waiting for my next trip to Central America for it. I want to play it with the same group of friends I played Heavy Raind, Beyond Two Souls Remixed, and Until Dawn while I was there. We had a blast playing through all these games, so I want to continue that tradition. I will bring Hidden Agenda too, but Become Human is definitely on my list. Those kind of games are great, I'm actually very impressed they all come from Western Studios, the writing is very good. I'm also surprised I like them considering they are more about the story than the gameplay, but for these kind of games it actually works to be that way. This is quick time events done properly Another interesting thing I discovered is that even though they are made as a single player experience in mind, they are the perfect party games, and playing them with other people is the best way to enjoy them as it is a lot of fun what decision we should take next to see what happens. I would definitely say these kind of games are best enjoyable with 4 players or above. That's not to say they cannot be enjoyed alone, I'm sure they can, but I would still advice to wait and have the full experience with your friends.

Samurai Aces 83/100 I imagine this felt like a very revolutionary shooter back in the day. A lot of the ideas introduced on this game became pretty standard for the genre. Even when I play Ikaruga I can see how its origins come from this. The maneuvering is a little hard in this game though. Dragon Blaze 93/100 This game is very polished and balanced. It was a total pleasure to play. I became very competent quickly to the point that eventually I was able to do the first 6 levels without getting hit. No many shooting games give you that much sense of accomplishment so fast while still making you feel you had to work for it. The game is very cool indeed.

Just beat Uncharted 1 and 2 in the Nathan Drake Collection, I enjoyed them even more than the 4th one I beat last month. The stories were more interesting and I felt like there was more at stake while playing. I give them a 92/100 and a 97/100 respectively. Great games that still look and play phenomenally

When they'd interrupt the exploration for the run and shoot sections, they felt endless, with enemies just stupidly throwing themselves in waves at Drake & co. Broke immersion for me a bit. It didn't ruin the game for me, but those sections always felt like a slog. I think all of the sequels got better with those action sequences though.

Agreed, there were parts in the 1st game where there are unnecessary enemies. Just started the third one last night, pretty great so far too.

Just finished Uncharted 3, I'm going to have to say it's my least favorite of the PS3 trilogy. I still greatly enjoyed it and give it an 88/100 but there are more parts in this game that drag on such as the part where you are just pressing forward in the desert waiting for a cutscene to show that you're still looking for water or some of the parts where Talbot drugs you. I'd also say this is by far the worst final boss as well.

Finally got down to finishing Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex for the Gamecube. It's probably a game I should've left in the past, back in the day I loved this game on the XBox, part of the reason may have been that I played it before playing the original PS1 games. Since then I have beaten the original trilogy on PS1 and the PS4 Remasters and I love those games but there is a good reason the series went downhill after Naughty Dog left, the controls in this game felt kind of clunky and there were far too many of the vehicle level gimmicks. I can't say it is necessarily a bad game or that I didn't have fun with it but it is a clear downgrade from the originals. I would only recommend it to hardcore Crash and platforming fans.

God of War 2018
This game... is a tad overrated.
Truthfully it's just a bigger, flashier version of 2017's Hellblade (plus RPG and world design elements evocative of Darksiders). If you told someone who saw gameplay but was as yet unfamiliar with either GoW or Hellblade that both were part of the same franchise (e.g. a sidestory/DLC), they would probably believe you. Likely that was a primary factor in XBox's recent aquisition of Ninja Theory (Hellblade's dev studio)...
I was more impressed with the artistic vision and narrative scale of Detroit Become Human to be honest.
But still, whatever. Good is good. B+ (8.8)
