That guy was my favorite character, I don't remember his name, he was cool. I think I saw two versions of Star Trek, one with Shatner, and one with Stewart, that I always confuse with Mckellen, I don't know who is who. They are always making out randomly for some reason. Because them gay!

I watched the Miri episode and it reminded me heavily of Little Lamplight in Fallout 3. It must've been where they got the inspiration for that town.

I remember that episode, Miri. Today's audience would find a replica Earth, just sitting out there in space, hard to swallow.
So, what's the best Star Trek movie, people?

Today's audience would find a replica Earth, just sitting out there in space, hard to swallow. There are lots of things people would find ridiculous with Star Trek nowadays. The planet they found wasn't an exact replica of Earth though as in their time period. It was just like Earth in the 1960's, which would be like the audience's time period, but not like the in-universe time period. It was weird why they never bothered to explain why it was so similar to Earth though.

I've only seen a few of the episodes of TOS, but Star Trek the Motion Picture is one of my favorite sci-fi films of all time.

Just watched both parts of the Menagerie episode, and I liked this story quite a bit. The mystery of why Spock is going rogue was quite refreshing, and the fact that they expanded the story of the Enterprise by showing us the previous captain was great. The alien story was okay, but I wish their motivations where more interesting. Still, one of the best storylines yet of what I've seen. Hope there are more 2 parter episodes.

I watched a couple of great episodes this weekend. Balance of Terror was a fun ship combat episode. I liked very much how both captains tried to outsmart the other. A lot of respect given in this episode, and the facr that these enemies were related to the Vulcans only made it better. The Galileo Seven might be my favorite episode yet. I like how Spock was given command and how he tried to get thing undee control, but failing because not everything is logical. Watching them trying to survive that hostile planet was a lot of fun. It reminded me a lot about Halo: Nightfall in that they had to chose who gets on the space shuttle. One of the more tension filled episodes, and I think it worked perfectly.

Watched the Arena episode, which is a legendary episodes because of that battle with the Gorn. Even though I still find it hilarious and this is the Apex combat scene of The Original Series, I have found a lot of appreciation for this episode. Kirk spares this Gorn not because he suddenly found out that it'd be ruthless, but because he found out over the course of the fight that it was the humans who were in the wrong. Pretty good episode over all.

One of my favorite recurring things from this series is the bickering between Dr. McCoy and Spock, it never gets old.
While The Return of the Archons wasn't a great episode, I do think it was a neat idea, one which one of my favorite movies, The World's End, must have been inspired by.

McCoy: I don't know much about these creatures yet Mr. Spock, but there is one thing I have discovered. Spock What's that doctor? McCoy: I like them...better than I like you. Spock: They do have one redeeming characteristic. They do not talk too much.

Watched Space Seed and I was quite thrilled by the Khan revelation. I know he is a big deal in the second movie, and hid introduction in the series was great. I love that they expanded on the lore by telling us about the Eugenics Wars of the 1990's. It's awesome that Khan is something more than just a human. He is biologically the perfect man, and a great foe in the Star Trek universe. I'm happy I haven't a clue what the movies are about so that I may have some surprises waiting for me. One of the best episodes yet.

What I've been missing from Star Trek is a recurring villain, but with Errand of Mercy, the Klingons were finally introduced. The episode was pretty good overall, and I hope to see the Klingons again soon. As for the episode The Alternative Factor, I think it's weird that it's one of the lowest rated episodes. Sure it's weird and all, but a lot of episodes are on the quirkier side. I thought the ending of that episode was pretty good, a guy tributes himself for all of eternity to save two universes, somber stuff.
