Hollow Man. Its a thriller/sci-fi/teensy bit of mystery. Aside from Predator, this is one of the very first movies i've ever watched in my life. Some scenes i remember clearly and it was a great memory lane. Without spoiling anything; The movie is about power and abuse. Highly recommended.

I hate how the physically strongest character in the Justice League is being portrayed by one of the skinniest women I've ever seen, but guys. ... Guys... Guys! Have you watched this trailer?... ... Uh... Hm... ... Have you, guys, by any chance, noticed how THIS LOOKS FUCKING AWESOME?!

I'm actually not a huge fan of this idea. Unless of course all bandits turn into Harley Quinns, Poison Ivys, Killer Frosts, in which case the world would become way more dangerous but more colorful at the same time.

So, yesterday I watched the SUICIDE SQUAD, let me tell you about it. Oh no, wait! Before that I need to say something. This movie came at a time when I was beginning to think super hero movies should take some rest; while not the first time I felt bad about one of those, my first clear disappointment in the whole thing happened when I watched the Avengers 2: Age of Ultron, a movie that was below what I expected specially coming from Ironman 3 (and any other Ironman, really). Things only got worse this year after Batman V Superman turned out to be one of the most messed up movies I've watched - not sure if they were going for that feel - Captain America: Civil War turned out to be the most incredibly amazing movie I would never watch again because of how uninteresting everything about it was, and X-Men: Apocalypse made me wish I was watching either one of those other 2 again in its place. But then came Suicide Squad... It was actually the movie I was looking forward to the most this year, and you know what happens when you expect too much and get too hyped before it's time, right? Well... Fahck! How?! How did this movie deliver everything it promised and more? What is this feeling?! Given the circumstances I left the theatre impressed that the movie was everything I was led to believe it would be and some extra. The first thing you may want from Suicide Squad is villainy, and that's what you'll see: thankfully this isn't a movie about a bunch of criminals going heroic, but rather criminals being forced to be heroic without losing what gives them the label of villains. The second thing is probably violence: what you get isn't as strong as what was done for 300, but it fits; to me it always means more to be fit with your material than going over the top and missing the mark. The third thing is Suicide Squad itself: I won't spoil it much, but mind you that it is Suicide Squad. Now I didn't say a whole lot about the movie, and that's because in technical terms, and even as far as plot goes, what is done is fine, it's actually better than what I'm used to going at these superhero movies as far as the story goes. I know that not everyone exactly loved the big bad of this movie, but in my opinion this is a villain that's on another level of "coolness", that's not something you get to see in superhero movies, that's not even something you expect superheroes to defeat alone (I know Superman couldn't); saying anything more than this may spoil the story. Visuals could have been better, the CGI that gets used the most doesn't really require much to feel in place with everything else, and the action scenes unfortunately aren't at Furious 7 levels of quality, but they still get the job done. As for the humor, by now everyone knows that the movie was reshot to have a few more humorous scenes in, but for some reason that weirds me out a bit seeing how the least funny ones were already in the trailers... Going to assume the most recent scenes were just genius. Talk about that, whoever wrote some of those jokes simply gave bad critics a lot of bait. Let me explain, when you make a movie for the masses, you don't make awkward type jokes, and you don't put 2 of those in the same movie; general people don't have the level of social intelligence to catch them, movie critics even less because of chances of certain disorders that favor this line of work. Now, there are 2 characters that I can talk about because despite their screen time they don't affect the plot directly. Batman first; the thing that strikes me as very interesting is that the Batfleck you see here isn't the same MurderBat from Batman V Superman, this might be due to his previous encounter with Superman but doubles as a warranty that you can watch this movie as a standalone later when you forget about the mass killing Batman from before. The second character is Joker; no, he's not part of the Suicide Squad. C'mon! It was obvious from the trailers! This version of Joker does something that Marvel had been doing this whole time in their movies without getting bashed: it simply doesn't respect sources as much, and the result is amazing! Despite the fact that this Joker is what he is now so Harley Quinn feels more human and relatable to viewers, he's also the scariest Joker I've ever seen because of how random he is (something previous movies didn't really do for him). Also, fucking sick character design. So, that's roughly what I think of Suicide Squad. So far it is my superhero movie of the year, DEADPOOL being a close second. I say that it is no GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, but it takes the most hints from that movie, with the benefit that with exception of Starlord all the characters tend to be more relatable. If you haven't watched Guardians of the Galaxy yet, then I hope it's because you just don't enjoy action or super heroes or space or something, because that movie is stellar.

2 Batman movies on the same year? Something is in the water of DC headquarters. I approve though. I really want them to get on the output level of Marvel.

Hey, have any of you guys watched Stranger Things? If you guys like 80s movies about kids (like Stand By Me or The Goonies), or horror adaptations of Stephen King's novels, then this series is just great. It's also recommended if you like Silent Hill, since it has some very familiar moments. I watched it entirely in a day, just couldn't stop myself.
Also, right now I'm rewatching Utopia, a sadly very short british series (12 episodes). It's about a group of characters stumbling upon a conspiracy and then having to run from (and fight against) shady agencies and governments. I don't know how to explain it better, so here's a trailer. It's really good, mates.
