Just watched Ghost In The Shell (2017). Boy, am I glad it is actually Ghost In The Shell! I've been hyped for this since last year when I got to know it was going to be a thing, and I'm not disappointed. There may have been more "borrowed" content from the first movie than I would have wanted, but they got it right, it's a new story; and the interesting part is that it isn't completely "Adventure Time: with Batou the human, and Major the borg", the other members got a little spotlight too.

The Last Dance was pretty good, but some of the ratings it got on film sites like Letterboxd is overrated.

I haven't finished it. I'm only an episode in, and so far is fantastic. Just the Jordan footage alone is 10 out of 10 to me.
That's one of the persons I admire the most as a little kid, and as an adult I am appreciating all the qualities he had that made him stand out in such a profound way.

I'm pass this ^^^, which was right at the beginning of the legendary battle of the twelve houses. I'm already on Asgard, episode 89. It has been a blast to rewatch my favorite show after decades. I think I was 4 when I started watching the Latino dub back in the 90s. This Netflix English dub is 2020, and it is remarkably good. It is not as good as in romantic languages, but it is still pretty great regardless what people say. The main thing is that they have all the original sound effects, and the original soundtrack ( background music). The background music makes like 80% of the show, so them having it, makes all the difference in the world. I have to say though, the artwork is pretty fantastic, actually my favorite from Anime, specially the hair styles, and facial expressions. I'm excited because I finished the Mime of Benetnasch Eta fight, which is a character I have in figure form:  I'm currently on Alberich of Megrez Delta, and Syd of Myzar Zeta is next who is pretty cool too, followed by Siegfried of Dubhe Alpha himself. It is very exciting to relive this again. The level of spirituality this show has with all the symbolic references is simply off the charts. After Odin it is all about Poseidon. You simply can't go wrong with this show. |
