How do you watch Star Wars

With my eyes, generally.

Thanks to The Force Awakens, last time I could just ignore the prequels and go from Return of the Jedi straight to it. It felt great, man.

Seriously, f*** the prequels.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, etc..

I did watch 4, 5, 6 first though, but they were the remasters. They were showing them on the Movie Theaters before Episode I came out.

I don't anymore.

The trilogy I loved watching growing up is no more available to me, at "best" I can get hold of the atrocities more commonly know as the "special" editions, yeah, a fitting name for the worst possible reasons.

And out of the newer movies I only really liked the Phantom Menace. Attack of the Clones was completely terrible and the third prequel was so much worse still that I've never even bothered learning its name.

And finally from what I've heard and seen from the latest movie, being a soft reboot starring a bunch of new nobodies i don't care nor want to care about, I don't think it deserves even a chance at this point, they dropped the ball completely, it's gone.

Lemme know when they make a proper Star Wars sequel movie about Mara Jade and all that other good stuff I've waited for like 20 years to see and maybe I'll give a shit again. Though I strongly doubt they have what it takes to even make that good these days, even though 100% of the material needed was already made ready and waiting for them to use. In my eyes I can only see people who want to make bad movies, why else would they ignore the good and easy way to do it and instead build garbage from the ground up spending millions and ending up with something I can only hate? It makes no sense unless they're deliberately aiming to make it awful. I don't know why they wanna make it awful but at least if that was their goal the end result makes sense even if their reasons for wanting something like that to begin with are completely nonsensical.

I watch them out of order, as the chronology doesn't matter to me since I've already seen all of them (except Force Awakens) and know the plot like the back of my hand. The only episode I genuinely dislike is Revenge of the Sith, which also has the distinction of being the only episode that I don't watch regularly because it disappoints me so much.
