Just curious to see where the Pub stands on Nintendo's next console.
I still think NX was a cooler name, though.

I'm interested. I usually wait a while for Nintendo consoles, but I often pick their handhelds up close to launch, so I could go either way here. I suppose it will depend what it launches with, and what, if any digital copies can be transferred over from the Wii U or 3DS.

I thought I was the only one who liked the name NX better than the Switch. I hate it when they name the consoles after an ordinary word. As for the console itself: it looks better than the WiiU, but definitely not something that I'm going to buy (at least in the foreseeable future that is).

I always buy Nintendo hardware because I enjoy their first party output. Whether I do near launch or not will depend on the early lineup.

But for most of their trailer/demo, people do that with their phones/tablets. I am not going to take Skyrim on the go. That is an investment in time, to say the least. And if it has Game Gear like battery life, you could take a 5 minute stroll and have to find a charger NOW! |

I'm definitely curious. And I'm still having trouble how much more sophisticated video game consoles can get in the future. The Switch definitely looks like something special, which is something the Nintendo have often tried to crank out. They did the Game Boy, the Wii, the DS, a cartridge-based 64-bit machine in the face of the rise of CD-ROMs...
Hey, did anyone know that the Wii turned 10 a few days ago?
